Annie headed this last year, and I think it was a real success - I had a blast. Annie's out this month focusing on RL and school things, so if she doesn't mind, I'd be happy to organize it.

To participate in the Hatrack December Gift Exchange:
E-mail me at katepilkington AT yahoo.com. Include the following:
Nov. 29
1. I will send an e-mail to everyone who has e-mailed me with their mailing address telling them who they got, and that person's mailing address.
2. Everyone will e-mail me back with aknowledgement.
Dec 6

Mail packages by this date. Do NOT, do not spend more than $10 on the present. It's important to mail it by the sixth because we have some college students and last year there were some who didn't get their packages until they came back after December break.
------
Last year, I got a Chinese cookbook from the wonderful Annie, and it was fabulous. :)Let's play.

*grin* How obvious is it that I wrote the first post without looking at a calendar?

Posted by TomDavidson (Member # 124) on :

See, Katie, this is why I never organize things. [Wink]

Posted by Leonide (Member # 4157) on :

Why don't we up the limit to 20 dollars -- people shouldn't be afraid to spend over 10 if they find something upwards of that price. And they definitely shouldn't feel *required* to spend the twenty...just gives us a little more wiggle room.

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

hmm...maybe some more feedback?

I like the idea of ten dollars because you CAN get stuff for that price, but it takes some imagination.

Plus, it eliminates CDs. [Wink] I don't know...I don't want it to be a money stress for anyone, and there's still the mailing cost over the cost of the present.

Okay.

Ten dollar gift, but up to $20 possible if you find something perfect?

Posted by Raia (Member # 4700) on :

I have a question... is it possible for me to participate if I have to expect someone to pay shipping charges to Israel?

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Shipping to Israel (assuming a 1 pound package)

Domestic shipping

So, it looks like -- for the same shipping charges, more or less -- the package that would take 2 or so days domestic would take about a month to get to Israel. So, assuming Raia is willing to wait a little longer for hers, that seems to work out ok, neh? (NO idea what shipping FROM Israel to the U.S. might cost.)

well, whoever gets Raia could always send her present a little earlier...

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

True, but if they'll only know they have her on Nov. 25th, and will need to get the gift, I'd imagine it wouldn't be much earlier.

Posted by Raia (Member # 4700) on :

Ok... yay! [Smile] And I don't mind paying for shipping out of the country. *wants to participate*

May I suggest a #4 to the list of info required...

That since you usually put your RL name on addresses, you need to supply your Hatrack handle as well.

Not that I would send out all my information, under Dan Davis, and not put a note on it anywhere that I was alias Dan_raven.

Nope, I wouldn't be that silly.

Especially not two years in a row.

It wasn't me. It must have been someone else.

Yep.

I think Ashcroft's super secret government conspiracy zapped into some e-mail I sent out and must have erased that line in the slim hopes that it would embarass me.

Not that it could.

Hey, Mr. Ashcroft, I don't need your help embarassing myself.

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

Okay, not a single e-mail since the serial killer comment. <oops>

I solemnly swear that all addresses are kept very, very safe, I won't use them for anything other than the stated purpose, I'll delete the file when Christmas is over, and I've never been convicted of anything resembling murder.

We have over thirty signed up so far. [Smile] Do y'all want the pairings to be random, in my best judgement, or a combination of the two? (For instance, random pairings, but if Bloomingtoners get each other, there's a reshuffle.)

I vote actually trying to pair people, but if you don't really have time or energy, feel free to do the random (of course I wouldn't want a bloomington person anyway).

I am in. And I promise to send out my gift ON TIME this year, rather than a month and a half late.

Posted by Dagonee (Member # 5818) on :

Do you pair people, so person A gives a gift to person B and person B gives a gift to person A, or do you mix it up so person A gives to person B, B to C, C to D, etc.?

Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :

I vote for trying to pair people, but if you want to go with a hint of randomness, that's fine, too. [Big Grin]

Posted by Carrie (Member # 394) on :

No, I don't like the pairing idea. A <-> B is kind of boring - that way you know who's got you. Takes all the fun out of it.

Randomness is the spice of life!

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

Yeah, the person you give a present to will be different from the person who gives you a present.

I think I was asking if Hatrack trusts my judgement in deciding who gets whom. I could give everyone a number and draw two from a hat at a time, and then put them all back and do it again for the other direction until everyone is accounted and no two have each other or someone that lives within driving distance, or I could decide that Alai needs to get something from Petra and it would be interesting to see what Peter got Col. Graff. (Names used merely as examples.)

Posted by Dagonee (Member # 5818) on :

I trust your judgment.

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

[Smile] Cool. *rubs hands together gleefully*

My pinky swear to not kill anybody seems to have worked - e-mails are coming in again.

I have a proposal for Hatrack. I asked for favorite Hatrack moments mostly because I'm quite sentimental at unexpected times and I like hearing them. They are so great, though, and so unexpected that I wish I could share. I was thinking about releasing a few at a time for general warm and fuzzy purposes, but I didn't make it clear beforehand that the responses might be made public. For the record, I haven't read any that I don't think is for general consumption - no blushing declarations, no confessions, nothing embarassing, but lots of cool memories, some of which I'd completely forgotten. What do y'all think?

Also, I have no idea if I remembered to tell you that I'm me, and that Dan is Lime. But, since my e-mail has Vana in it, and you've met us, I trust you can figure it out? I hope?

Of course, if I'm really lucky, maybe I just did it right in the first place. [Smile]

And now to play "Guess The Rememberer". (Good idea, ElJay.)
quote:
I'm having a hard time with a favorite Hatrack moment. The Kamacon was
great but was so short and I missed visiting with many that went on the
art/museum outing. I treasure Bob and Dana's willingness to share their
joy in each other. This, more than anything, has made me feel like part of
an extended family. I suppose it's obvious that I enjoy the pun threads.

Guess the Hatracker!
quote:
Let's see...
the first time Dobies made an appearance was quite entertaining (as
was Dobie himself, come to think of it), the drama leading up to the
expulsion and subsequent reentry of Thor was viciously amusing, but I
think the top would be the Breadbox Edition of Fellowship of the Ring,
what, almost three years ago now. Oh, wait, I know my favourite.
Finding out OSC had such a strong base in Wisconsin and finding them
to be such wonderful people. Well, okay, everyone on the 'Rack is
awesome, but the fact that people have good taste in books in
Wisconsin is amazing. Yeah, so that's it.

There's still a little bit of time to sign up for the gift exchange. [Smile]

RRR got it - it's Dragon.

Did y'all know that there are now automated machines in post offices across the country? The post office doesn't have to be open to mail packages now; I can't tell you how happy this makes me. It's still the cheapest by far.

Okay, sorting completed. It was a mix of random and planned, and the primary consideration was keeping people who live geographically near each other away from each other. quidscribis was easy; the Minnesota/Illinois people were harder. I'll start sending e-mails now.

You have one week from today to find, wrap, and mail the present. It needs to be mailed so early because of the high number of college student and overseas Hatrackers.

If there is someone to whom you wish to send a Christmas present, either anonymously or in full red-bow glory, and you did not receive them as your benefactee, I CAN be bribed. I like Terry Pratchett, mint candies, and pictures of Ewan McGregor.

Posted by Raia (Member # 4700) on :

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Yeah, it might be a good idea to post general likes/dislikes, although I'm thinking more along the lines of allergies; we should let our benefactors have a good deal of latitude to make it more fun, I think.

Hey rivka, do you care if your bag has a logo on it? One of my best friends goes to conferences about every other week, and they always give her briefcasey-type soft-sided bags. She's tried to push extras off on me a couple of times, and I've thus far refused. Anyway, if you can put one to good use, I'll ask her if the offer is still open when she gets back from Japan next week. (I watch her house and take in her mail for her, so I'm pretty sure it is. [Big Grin] )

(And "free" is the best price of all...)

I'm still sending them out. We had almost 50 people sign up, and I've already screwed up three times. Two people I left off the list completely and didn't realize it until I got to their e-mails to return. That worked out fine though because they were in the middle and I just reshuffled a little bit.

One person got the name of the benefactee, and then his own address. That's mildly creepy, if you think about it. The Hatracker lives...IN YOUR ATTIC! Hahahahaaaaa...

So, still sending them out. *checks list* jeniwren, I do not have you marked as having received an e-mail yet, so that's very promising.

I am so going shopping tonight. Oh, before someone buys me something: I'm also sensitive to rubbing alcohol, and scents trigger my asthma. Please no lotions, soaps, scented candles, or anything like that. Sorry to be picky, but I don't like getting gifts that make me sick. And I don't like most Asian food, almost any chocolate other than See's (I do like Ghiradelli's), beef jerky, turkey jerky, any other kind of jerky, cheese, peanuts, ketchup other than Heinz, or anything barbeque flavor, if you're thinking of food. My favorite color is green and I abhor pink.

Since people are posting wishlists and stuff, I'd be absolutely thrilled with a second-hand copy of a Falco book by Lindsey Davis. I own copies of Silver Pigs, The Iron Hand of Mars, Ode to a Banker, The Jupiter Myth, and The Accusers. I would be thrilled with any of the others. (Most of the older ones are out of print but can be found cheaply in paperback at used book stores. I don't care about condition as long as it's readable and all the pages are there.) I also do love See's, especially milk chocolate Bordeaux; never inappropriate (although a little expensive for this exchange).

Of course, feel free to get me whatever you want; those are just suggestions.

I like science fiction, jazz, blues, cartoons (moreso the older ones). I'll be happy with a book, cd, comic book, manga. I'm fairly easy to please.

If it's food or candy, nothing with lliquor in it, please. I love chocolate.

Now would probably be a good time to mention that I collect cookbooks. And OSC books. And...books in general.

One of the things on my list for hubby is to have my old clarinet fixed...I used to love playing so much, and now the kids are expressing an interest...

Oh, and I just joined audible.com, but I have no mp3 player and limited harddrive space, so am burning the audiobooks to cd. Maybe. If I can ever get the durn thing to work right. [Razz]

My wish list It's incredibly long and you don't have to look through it, but it gives you an idea about the kinds of things I go for. I love stuff to write on, write with, read, listen to, hang up, set on fire. [Smile] Pretty much anything actually. if you've already purchased it, I'm sure I'll love it!

As for who's getting MY gift...well it's a tough one, but I'm going to take Dagonee's advice and go read some posts. [Big Grin] This is fun.

Hmm, I will be completely happy with whatever, whomever decides to send me. I'm not a collector of anything but I do like surprises. I find the fun is in brainstorming for the giftee.

Posted by jeniwren (Member # 2002) on :

I know what I'm sending. [Smile]

For myself, I'd love almost anything for the kitchen, and especially need measuring spoons. Recipes for anything with curry in it. I like books that make me laugh, or anything lighthearted. I have a whole pile of serious books on my reading list, and need to intersperse it with something fun and not much effort. I like games that I can play with my son (almost 12) that don't take a really long time to play but are fairly even despite our age difference. (In other words, games we can play that he has a decent chance of winning.) Favorites include Fluxx, Phase 10 Dice and Pigs.

Okay, I've done it. It's limited, but it's there. My Amazon wish list. Unfortunately, I'm so out of the loop on current books that I have no idea what I'd like in terms of fiction. I'll browse around tomorrow when I'm not so tired and I'll add to it. I'm a sci-fi girl, but between hubby and I, we have such a large collection of books that books released more than a year ago are difficult - we may or may not already have them. But from the last year - we definitely don't have them!

Also, I'm LDS so no tea/coffee/alcohol. Chocolate, on the other hand, is always welcome in our house, especially the good quality stuff which is really really hard to come by here. Chocolate chips are also welcome - can't buy them here. [Roll Eyes] Um.

If you need ideas, you can email my hubby at fahim at farook dot org. Not that he'll necessarily know, but he may discretely pump me for info.

Something regional from where ever you are would be good, be it literature or whatever. I LOVE learning about other places, people, cultures. LOVE. [Kiss]

I don't know what else to suggest. Does that help? [Angst]

As for Katie, I have some ideas. . . Now I just have to get . . . Tee hee!!!!

crafty things, kitchen/baking supplies, candy, chocolate, books (duh) -- even if we have it, it would be fun if you write something in the cover, board and card games, ornaments, anything hand made (although the time limit might prevent that) or anything that has a story behind it.

No worries, this is fun! I'll love whatever you get!

i say "that's great. Now they not only don't know what to get us, but think you're a poo-head"

he says "just look at our profiles. and who the heck says poo-head, dork?"

i say "the profiles aren't going to be much help. they should do research, look through our posts...we're pretty forthcoming"

he says "and we have ferrets and kittens. so they could get us animal presents."

i say "yeah, something like that. we didn't tell Dan_Raven anything last year and he got us yumbly chili!"

he says "so we're going with being unhelpful?"

i say "definitely"

I like candlight dinners, cuddling and walks on the beach.... Oh wait - this isn't a personal ad!

I love cooking/baking, music, dark chocolate, candles and incense, and frogs (especially my little acquatic ones).
I like sewing, computer games, herbal tea (please no coffee, liquor, or black/green tea), and gardening.
Here's one of my wishlists to get my taste in movies, music, books, etc. I like just about anything music-wise, though my tolerance for country and rap are low. I also dislike excessive gore and gratuitous sex/violence. My favorite color is green (with blue being runner-up). I don't tend to like pink or orange.

My current obsessions are Firefly, World of Warcraft, and decorating/organizing our new house. Previous recent obsessions include Masssive Attack, Trigun, and Juno Reactor.

You could correspond with slacker (my husband) if you need ideas or just want to bounce some off someone who knows me well. [Smile]

My Amazon wish list has a bunch of books that either I've read and don't have any more or haven't read yet but I like the author's other books.

I am LDS, so (as others have mentioned) no coffee/tea/alcohol. Chocolate is always welcome (except white chocolate). I like flavored hot chocolate mix.

Food items are good - especially if there is a regional specialty where you are from. Anything that reflects your location or is made in your location would be good. As an example, I participated in an exchange (on another forum) last year and gave the person a potpourri pie. It was made from bread dough or something similar, with a little pie tin, and had potpourri in it. It was made by a woman who lives in my area.

I like science fiction and fantasy books, plus some mysteries. I like to scrapbook, although I haven't done any for awhile. I wanted to get some more supplies - pens that are safe, and a photo cutter (I can't cut straight!).

I'm tired and starting to babble mentally, so I'll quit now. If my person wants more details, they can e-mail a third party to ask me or use an e-mail that won't give away their identify. [Wink]

Oh, yeah ... I wouldn't mind a CD - especially Christmas music and/or something in either German or Spanish. I took both in high school but didn't practice after that. My younger daughter wants to learn German (she's 8) and I wanted to refresh my Spanish. Last year I got a CD of Christmas songs in Spanish - some are traditional English songs and some are traditional Hispanic songs (going by ethnicity here, not nationality). Anyway, Christmas songs in either language would be really cool. My favorite CD of Christmas music is Christmas on the Border, but then I don't have very many Christmas CDs. [Wink]

That's enough babbling for now, I guess. I've got to head off to bed now. And I didn't even get to play the Sims2 tonight. [Frown]

Maui, if you got me, why I wouldn't mind a airline ticket to Maui,

Or to ISreal.

Ok, neither of them will come in under the price limit so, here is my ideas.

Your favorite music. I have a very open appreciation of music, and almost no CD's.

A good game for the PC would be fine too. I just quite Everquest cold turkey because I don't have time to play.

My book collection is very full, so I'm only looking for lesser known books that you think are good.

I never say no to chocolate.

Hey, Boon, sure enough. [Smile]

I would love something handmade or partly so, like something printed out from the internet and decorated up. I'm quite cool with non-homemade, but I do prefer used over new. I like the well-loved feel. St Vinnie's is my friend. [Big Grin]

Likes:

Teal and blue-green combos
Leonard Cohen
Sci-fi/fantasy, especially older short stories
Mark Helprin
Scarves
Dark chocolate
Coffee and tea (especially mint herbal)
Fizzy bath stuff

And whatever else looks good to you.

Hey Sara, I've been meaning to ask you... you heard anything from Leonard Cohen's son yet? He doesn't have Daddy's voice, but his narrative arch is quite fun...

Low Millions is the name of the group... Adam Cohen is the front-man and main songwriter. They have a single, Eleanor, that's getting a lot of airtime around here. I liked the attitude of it enough to buy the disc, and while it's not a favorite it's quite nice.

Few more things I can add about me. Books - new or used, I don't care as long as all the pages are there and its readable. Handmade - absolutely fine by me. Artwork - also fine by me.

Colors - jewel tones are best. Love bright colors.

On the other hand, maybe my person already has it figured out and I'm wasting my time trying to make it easier? [Wall Bash]

I can't wait to receive my e-mail and know who I'm going to make a gift ! I hope this person will have left his/her preferences here, it will make it hard otherwise... Kat, question : does the gift need to have passed in my own hands ? Since some people seems to want books or CDs, I could as well order them on Amazon.com and send them from America to America (assuming the odds are big that it's going to be for an American). How is that ? Does it seem to impersonal ? Don't hesitate to tell me if it's the case, I took information and it's not too expensive to send something from here to America.

I bought my present today! ::is proud:: I'm sending it tomorrow.

Oh, and I like surprises too. I'm sure that any present sent to me will turn out to be me bouncing around going, "LOOK AT WHAT I GOT!"

Snail mail makes me a very happy hatracker.

I'd take a nice envelope with a handwritten note on nice stationary.

Or two homemade cookies.

Or your favorite picture of yourself.

Or...I dunno. Surprise me!

edit to say: Ya know, I really like giving people gifts that they like. Just makes ya feel good [Smile]

Kate, I got you your gift and I'll be posting it in the morning. It'll show the 7th, but because of time zone differences, it's still being sent on the 6th US time. [Wave]

I hope you like it! I hope the mailmen (Sri Lankan) don't steal the contents. (Recently, a bunch of postal workers, including top ranking ones, were arrested for stealing mail. In particular, the contents of parcels and such. Yup. Corruption in the east.) [Angst]

It was fun! Oh, and the box it's in. It came from the US from Eljay and her random act of chocolate kindness. And now it's heading back home. Katie, ya gotta make sure you send this box out to somewhere else far far away for another journey. I think it wants to see the world. [The Wave]

Posted by Carrie (Member # 394) on :

Also apologies to my victim - I'm sending it tomorrow because that's when I actually have time to go to the post office. (Refrains from mentioning that it shouldn't take more than three days to arrive and therefore a one-day delay won't make too much of a difference...)

And if whoever has me is wondering, I'll be at my school address until 22 Dec.

I will mail my person's package today. [Smile]

Added: I reread what quid wrote, and I understand now. I was afraid it would show up on the 7th, which meant Dash was involved somewhere. I love the idea of the box making the rounds - I'll have to pass it along.

It's done. It's mailed. Yay!!!!

I don't know whether it went by boat mail or air mail, but given that the postage cost more than the gift itself, I'm guessing it's going by air mail. See, the guy didn't speak English, so there was no point in asking. That and the six or so other people behind me all pushing their way to the counter, shoving their packages or envelopes in the guys face, do not really encourage extensive attempts at conversation. Seriously, if you want a cultural experience, go to a post office!

But it's off! Hopefully it'll arrive soon. Katie Katie, I hope you enjoy!

If it's any consolation, Anna, I have had good experiences with international mail through La Poste. Once I mailed about 20 tiny postcards (they weren't really postcards, but floral cards) to the US and even though the postman grumbled and complained endlessly and warned me about how foolish it was to expect them to be delivered, every single one made it in one to two weeks,

Yeah, I had a card all signed and sealed, and then sealed up the box without it. I had to cut it open, drop it in through the slit, and seal it back up. It bummed me a little because I'd wanted it to be all prettily on top of the wrapped gift, but oh, well.

If you have a college student or an international Hatracker, absolutely, abosolutely by tomorrow. Everyone else, too, come to think of it.

After everyone has gotten their presents or very close, I'm going to make a mapping of the chain. Annie --- > X ----> Boon ----> X -----> raventh ---> Narnia ---> Boris

Oh my goodness! I'M X!!

Good grief, Space Opera, you were far far too generous. The eucalyptus bath salts smell so yummy, and I'm going to go have a bath right now. Well, after I send you an email, too. [Smile]

Is it too soon yet for me to be anxiously awaiting the postman every day? Have I mentioned that our mail is delivered by the postal guy who rides a bicycle? And when he has mail - anything that won't fit through the slot - he rings his bicycle bell until you come down/out and get it? And his sorted mail sits in the bicycle basket in front of him? Very non-technological and yet very functional.

I hear him ringing the bell every day. We have neighbors who must get an awful lot of mail. And I keep hoping. And hoping.

Is today the day?

Goody was also an idiot and found your package sitting on her desk at work this morning. Actually, she blames her boss who dared to put filing stuff on top of it without informing her that he was dumping stacks. It's now en route and you should be receiving it Thursday or Friday. My apologies!!! (off to whip the boss with a length of wet embroidery floss - bright red overdyed so the color bleeds!)

Nothing in the mailbox today except some stuff I ordered for work from the IRS. You can go on their website and have them send you mail that isn't bills-for free! Of course, it does cost something in terms of taxes...

I guess what I'm trying to say is, some mail is better than no mail, but mail you don't order is better.

*glum*

It didn't work. I was going to make a great big map of who gave to whom, and show how everyone was connected into one big circle. However, I did NOT do this before I sent out all the e-mails, and just now when I did, I discovered that there isn't one gigantic circle. Instead, I created four smaller circles, and I can't make them fit together. This goes COMPLETELY against the point I was hoping to make.

Posted by quidscribis (Member # 5124) on :

Santa's Helper, the thing you're forgetting is not that it's an international package, but that it's an international package going to Sri Lanka, the land of the sticky fingers, the short work days, the country with more national holidays than any other in the world except perhaps Australia (I think that was the country I was quoted), and the perennially absent from work with no good reason.

In other words, nothing works on the same time as you're used to. Or I'm used to. Or any foreigner is used to. Unless that foreigner came from India, in which case, things are positively speedy here. [Big Grin]

Posted by katharina (Member # 827) on :

Okay, I need to go.

Boon, I have not recieved any information to pass on. [Frown]

I will be on vacation until January 4. I do not have internet at home, so I can't check anything until maybe Tuesday night when I arrive at my dad's house in Utah. I'll check my e-mail whenever I can, but...as of four o'clock today, y'all are on your own. If it's a wild emergency, contact Banna or any of the number of people who have my phone number. All the information is on my yahoo account, though, so I don't know how helpful that would be.

If you have not mailed your present yet, don't worry. I won't tell anyone. You are greatly loved and appreciated. And you can mail it tomorrow.

Do that. Mail it tomorrow at the latest. For most people, the big holiday is a week away, and you don't want to be thinking about this anymore. Just mail, in whatever state it is in now. It's the thought and the touch and thought made corporeal that matters. Just go and do it. You'll feel so much better, and it will all be taken care of then. You can do this. [Smile] I'm so proud. [Smile]

I'll post the Gift Circles in January when I get back. *blows kisses* I love you all. Merry Christmas and Happy December. [Smile]

I think my gift is here!

The mailman rang his bicycle bell a gazillion times, and Fahim went down to answer it, and came back with a card from someone I barely know who left Sri Lanka over a year ago and this is the first time I've heard from her and the thick wad of paper from the post office that represents the fact that there's something that I have to go and pick up and pay import/duty/bribery fees on to claim it.

A name was written on the paperwork - starts with a J. and rhymes with Bennifer. No last name. So. . . given that most people here don't use their actual names, I still have not got a clue who my secret Santa is!

Fahim has also warned me that, when we go to the post office and they open the package, even if they open it in front of us, they may just take all the candy that's in it. That, apparently, is commonly done here. No big surprise given that a lot of time, mail just doesn't even arrive. But I refuse to give up hope. [Monkeys]

Post office isn't open again until Monday. I'll check in after we go. [Big Grin]

Katie Katie!!!!!

Your gift has made its way back home. It arrived today. I'd like to mail it back to you. Is the same address I mailed it to in the first place still good?

And there's a story behind this, as well. Sort of.

Yesterday, Fahim's day off, we went out and about, running errands. And because the gift hadn't yet been returned, I decided that enough was enough, and it's time to get more stuff to fill up another box and send it out to you.

So I did. [Smile] I bought the first component, with intentions of getting the rest sometime this week or so. Well, Fahim had to pay for it - I didn't have any cash on me - and he says, no kidding, "You know that as soon as you buy this, the box'll come back?" "That's why I'm buying something a little different. So I won't have duplicates if that happens."

So. The mailman on the bike rings his bicylce bells not ten minutes ago, Fahim goes down to get the mail, and there it is. The box. And says to me, "I told you. And I'm always right. You know that." Or something along those lines.

Sadness is, he is almost always right. [Grumble]

So. I'd like you to get the gift. Where shall I mail it to? [Big Grin] [Kiss]
