Sadly, no, Bob.

We used to sing it for kids at my old summer camp. We would have a procession of Counselor Assistants come into the dining hall, wearing hoods if possible. One would carry a small cake. Another would carry a staff. After each line, the staff would be pounded on the floor. The song was sung as a dirge.
