According to Marvel mythology, Hercules and Thor are real and wander the Earth fighting crime.

DC offered their own selection of mythical figures come to life in the form of Diana (Wonder Woman) who was an Amazon princess but had a special relationship with the Greek gods and the Shazam fellow...Captain Marvel?

OK, just so everyone is no longer confused: In Marvel Comics there's a superhero team called The Avengers. Thor was a founding member, and I tried my best to name most of the members.
