Habits

[Wink]

I cannot believe no one thought to do this before!

It's a good thing you did just in the nick of time.

... was that sarcastic? [Frown]

I mean, it's pretty obvious but... I thought it was a little funny...

[Confused]

Too obvious. [Razz]

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

Ah.

Shall I get rid of it then?

Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :

C'mon, Teshi. You've been around long enough to know what a gentle touch I have!

Of course it was sarcastic. That doesn't mean you hafta to ask if you should get rid of it. Sheesh. Don't be a sissy.

edit: Good grief, now I've edited this, like, twelve times to make it sound nicer. Great scott! I'm becoming a sissy!

I'm sorry. I'm not good at real sarcasm let alone internet sarcasm...

[Smile]

EDIT: I was brought down from my mountain of smug wittyness by your comment and crushed below the heel of reality so it was a rather long fall. And I am rather a sissy- and you don't have to keep editing your post, I need to be toughened up.

... and now this thread is a witness to my sissiness and in that case will have to be destroyed anyway. Ah, dilemma!

*attempts to shrug off silly comments and fails miserably*

I feel bad now.

We're just a bunch of damned sissies.

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

AH! Don't feel bad! It's my fault!

We have to kill this thread before it gets out of control. No one should feel bad, not Ralphie, not me, not Dag not anyone!

Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :

Oh, I SHOULD feel bad, just possibly not for this one.

I have lots of other stuff to make up for.

Still. Sissies.

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

Oh alright then.

*sells indulgences*

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Nononono! The huddled-post-apocalyptic mutants should alleviate all feelings of badness and/or sissiness!

*kicks thread in the shin*

There. Now I can feel bad too.

Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :

For kicking a thread in the shin?

What are you, some kind of sissy.

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Well, kicking a thread can really hurt. Some are awfully dense.

Posted by imogen (Member # 5485) on :

No, I feel bad because it hurt my foot.

<-- Super Sissy.

Wimps [Smile]

[Angst] Uh oh, what if I hurt someone's feelings. [Razz]

Posted by Ralphie (Member # 1565) on :

I was going to invite you guys to my party for non-sissies, but now you can't come.

Cause you're sissies.

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

This thread officially has the same number of posts as the one it's dobie-ing

Do I win a prize, or am I too much of a sissy?

Am I the only one who has ever been poetically frustrated upon discovering that nuns rhymes with buns, but not having the heart to continue from there?

Posted by imogen (Member # 5485) on :

I once knew two very nice nuns
Who dined on tea and fruit buns
But when the buns ran out
Together they did shout
"Oh a life without buns is no fun!"

Annie - apparently so. Although my poem is so bad it probably would have been better if I hadn't gone on.

Posted by kaioshin00 (Member # 3740) on :

What's a fruit bun?

Posted by Teshi (Member # 5024) on :

A bun with fruits in...

Aas in hot cross bun type buns with raisins and bits of dried cherry etc.

Posted by imogen (Member # 5485) on :

I think they can also be called currant buns.

(Not, however currant bums which is what I first typed.)

Posted by Annie (Member # 295) on :

A habit's a frustrating thing.
We fellows are left wondering
Just why do those nuns
Hide those cute little buns
When a glance could be gratifying?

[Eek!]
