I would just like to mention that one of the great sports players of our time has retired. Mia Hamm played her last game for Team USA, garnering 2 assists in a rout of Mexico. She's the all-time leading scorer in international play (male OR female), even just counting her assists she'd be in the top 10. Hamm and Team USA brought home 2 Gold Medals and 2 World Cup titles. Thanks, Mia.

"Hamm has earned the "Women's World Player of the Year" honor two times. She was 15 years old when she joined the U.S. Team, the youngest player ever on the roster."

And it's not just Mia. Judy Foudy and Joy Fawcett are also retiring.
We're going to have a tough time at the next WWC.
