I thought of trying this as a real experiment, but I chickened out. So I figure I’d try it as a thought experiment instead. I know what my own reaction would be if I saw this happen. [ROFL] But I’m kind of twisted so I can’t always guess how others might react.

Think of Christmas parties past that you have been to and tell me what you think would happen to a guy (or at least what kinds of reactions he would cause) if, being the guy who’s to play Santa, he did the following:

Instead of coming out dressed as Santa Claus chanting, “Ho ho ho!” he came out dressed as Jesus saying, “Follow me.”

"No, I'm santa!"
"And I'm his friend Jesus!"

I'd feel weird about asking Jesus for a flamethrower.

My Beloved already tells our kids (and any kids who will listen) stories about Jesus Clause. Does that count?

I'd laugh then throw the nearest object at him.

And yet another reasons why I love Olivia's husband.

Platonic love, but love non the less.

Jesus Claus. Brilliant. [Big Grin]

He lives in a barn at the North Pole, and flies around the world stuffing babies in people's socks.

The kids know better, so most of the fun in the stories is the boys setting daddy straight. [Smile]

Golly, how I love that man!

How humorous. I'd have more of a reaction, though, if the Holly King came down the chimney.
