I have an annoying ancestor who evades detection, and he's not even that distant, he's my grandmother on my father's side's father (my great-grandfather) and when he married my grandmother's mother, he was listed as having been married once before.
The questions are: Who are his parents and who was this first marriage to?
EDIT: Of course this is Kent, England, not the US.
