It's funny, how the Blame artists (politicians, editorialists, talking heads) LOVE to blame Hollywood for almost every ill in America.
The Truth is Hollywood has shown improvement in Moviemaking (their Job) and all the politicians have done is figure out how to make more money for themselvers and their families, and screw up our nation more and more and more.
2005 looks to be one of the most entertaining years in movies EVER!
Yippeeee for us!!!!!
Woot!
I must say that I've started the year off with
The Aviator.
And excellent movie, Scorcese and DiCaprio at the top of their game, a very entertaining movie about history. Sure, the end kinda sucked, but then so did Howard Hughes life.
"wave of the Future!"
Spanglish!
I loved Spanglish. This movie made me laugh, this movie made me cry, this movie warmed the cockles of my heart, this movie is a writers movie, if you like James L brooks, i highly reccommend it. Paz Vega and Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni and the Mom and the 2 daughters are great!
"I promise you had some fun!"
Up next for me is
The Life Aquatic.
I am VERY excited about
SIN CITY - a dream come true. Frank Miller is my favorite and most influential author of ALL time.
War of the Worlds.
Harry Potter IV
The Weatherman
Star Wars III
and many others.
Hollywood is A-OK.
Our politicians are evil bastards.

In a way I hope so, but since Sci-Fi movies tend to...suck sometimes, I also dread the possibility.

Sci-fi movies, just like all other genres, usually suck.
