Finally, finally, finally it's coming out in DVD. Legally, I mean. According to Amazon, March 2005. Woo hoo!
It better have extras. I want documentaries, deleted scenes, bloopers, the works. I didn't wait this long to be satisifed with just a TV trailer and "more great movie previews!"

You have no idea how much I love this movie (and play). It was love at first sight, yet a lasting relationship. I own a second-hand vhs, but... a DVD.
*dies*
EDIT: And I can ask for it for my Birthday! EDIT #2: Bother. No I can't- it's out after my birthday. Ah, well, perhaps it can be a late birthday present?

I have the video -- bought used from Blockbuster, since it was never actually offered for retail sale -- and a DVD I somehow mysteriously acquired (with liner notes in Mandarin), but it's been on my Amazon alert list for about three years.

Mine is second-hand from Rogers. I guess that's the only source for them.

From the play:
"Shouldn't we be doing something constructive?" "What did you have in mind, a short, blunt, human pyramid?"
From the movie:
quote: "Address me" "My honoured lord." "My dear Rosencrantz." "Wait- am I pretending to be you then?"
...
"My honoured lord." "My dear... fellow."

I did such a happy dance when I got the email from Amazon.
"Blood is compulsary."
