I love my daddy. This past weekend, he drove me to work on Saturday at 8:30, dealing with my bad temper in the morning. He then picked me up from my job at 9:30, and drove me out to my school (about half an hour) for Robotics. He then picked me up from that at one, and drove me to my friend's house (about 20 minutes) to pick up the tape recorder for my Veteran interview. Then he drove me to my interview place (around 1/2 hour) and killed an hour in Burlington, of all places, while I did my interview. he then drove me home, and cooked me lunch. he then took my little brother to his hockey. i had to babysit, and hadn't eaten dinner. he stayed up until 12:30, knowing that he had to get up until 5:30 for my brother's hockey the next morning, just to cook me dinner. At 12:30 in the morning. I then went to bed, and he had the unenviable job of waking me up at 10:30 the next morning. He then drove me to hockey, and watched my game. We then came home, and he made me lunch. then he drove my broother off to even more hockey. When he came home, he cooked dinner.

I love you, daddy! [Kiss]

Feel free to share any more stories of daddy (or mommy) appreciation here too!

Once again, if I haven;t said so already, I love my daddy to pieces! [Group Hug]

I love my husband. He gets up early whenever he's home to take care of the baby and let me sleep. He does this so much that when she wakes up crying, she calls for Abba, not Mama. He changes dirty diapers when it's not his turn because he knows he'll be at work all day. Then he goes to work, outside, in the 25 degree weather to support us, comes home late in the evening, thanks me for the dinner I cooked and tells me it's wonderful (although he is often eating it hours after it was cooked, so not always at its best), does the dishes, gives the baby her bath and participates in her bedtime routine, helps clean up the living room, gives me a back massage, and snuggles with me.

Okay, so he's Emma's Abba, not mine, but I still appreciate him.

I also appreciate both my parents, who taught me to cook, sew, do laundry, always answered my questions, gave me a taste for healthy food cooked well, read to me, played with me, sang with me, and help us out monetarily when we need it now. They make sure I get to come home for Christmas even when we can't really afford it; they send clothes and toys for my baby because we can't buy them. (So does my aunt, for that matter, and my sisters, too.) They are always ready with medical advice and reassurance (being a doctor and a nurse/OT), or just to talk. Most of all, they're always proud of me, and they always love me.

I should call and say thank you.

Oh, and I think Emma loves her Abba, too.
