I'm starting to play around with creating cell-level stuff in 3D. I figure you can never go broke animating blood cells flying around. [Wink] I stumbled across this great collection of electron microscope images that have been tinted all sorts of cool dramatic colors... I'm always amazed that we have the ability to take pictures like this!

Does anyone else have any cool electron microscope sites? This started as research for my project, but now I'm just having fun looking through everything. [Smile]

I don't know of any off the top of my head, but wow, what great pictures. I agree--the fact that we have the ability to take pictures like that is breath-taking.

Are the pictures dialup-friendly? Or should I save the links for when I have real internet?
