He probably was wearing a helmet...they only give you a chance, they don't gaurentee anything other than that.

I had a freind who was wearing one, and died on his bike going 15 mph. He slid on some sand, right under and truck, and hit his head. He wasn't under the influence, his blood came back normal...and he was a police officer at the Cape, just off-duty.

I hope he is OK, and will pray for you all.

He had a helmet. He bumped into a curb and went flying off the motorcycle, and he had a blood clot in his brain and his elbow was very smashed.

However, they did the brain surgery and the doctor was very pleased with the results, and the elbow surgery went fine. He's in ICU. We're not really sure what's going to happen afterwards. The doctors aren't sure yet about the extent of the damage to the brain, or whether it's going to be permanent, or what.
