Ok, so I went to get my resident visa today. I had to give two more papers for my file and then get the visa. The thing is, that office where I went is really, really badly organized...

First, the place is so crammed that you feel like you're out of air a couple of minutes after going in there.

Second, you have these guys taking care of those who have an appointment, and apart from them there's the reception. To get out of the office from the appointment counter you have to go THROUGH the lines formed for the reception! Talk about stupid planning...

But wait, there's more! The reception is for those who want:
a) to get their visa, having received a calling for it
b) to get information
c) to complete their files

So, naturally, once they start giving visas there's no way to tell how long it will be until your stupid little question will be answered!

Anyway, let's get to the part that I actually had in mind when writing the title:
So I was waiting there, when three black guys come in line behind me. They ask if it's the right line, I tell them how it works, they say OK. Then, later, they start feeling ignored, so why not go in front?! One of them goes to ask one of the receptionists what they have to do. The answer, obviously, is "wait in line". Only they're too good to wait like anyone else! So this one guy says, in English: "Don't f****** listen to him (me), go!"

"Breath in, breath out..." I sooo saw my fist in that guy's face! Ok, I calmed down and told him: "Please, watch your language." He turns to me: "Do you have a problem, man?!" I could swear he has heard that exact line in movies, and was trying to act in that cool, black fashion that everybody loves. [Roll Eyes] I breathed some more, I shrugged and let them pass. There's no need to argue with the fools. Oh, just a thought: we are in a freakin' public building, is there ANYONE who's supposed to regulate the darn line in there?!?

Anyway, they get in front of me and two other people, but still have to wait. After they get their information or whatever it was they needed to do, one of them turns to me and says "Thanks, man!" Again in English. I don't get it. Are they THAT dumb? I mean I was feeling like beating the crap out of them and he has the nerve to "thank" me?! [Mad]

I'm calm now. I got my visa and all, I even managed to smile WHILE waiting in line after those three guys left. But boy, are they stupid or what!?

I *hate* it when people piss me off, then later they're all nice (and sometimes apologise), and make me look like the mean one! [Mad]

(((((Corwin))))) Good for you for staying calm when those guys were being jerks. You have a lot of patience. [Smile]
