My next article on gadgets is the April issue, and the editor wants something to do with New Years. You see, in April, we have Sinhalese and Tamil New Years, so no, she's not on drugs. Or, well, maybe she is, but it has nothing to do with this. [Big Grin]

I have a couple of ideas - it could have something to do with time or firecrackers, but beyond that, I have no ideas. Perhaps you have some suggestions? Or on something else associated with New Years.

Anyone? Anyone?

How about atomic clocks, those waving LED clock/display gadgets, fireworks, and breathalyzers?

Or the big shiny ball in NYC. Where did that thing come from anyway?

In the U.S., New Year is associated with resolutions and new beginnings, organization, etc. What about something like a Palm Pilot - to organize your life?

Thanks, jexx, for bumping the thread. Appreciate it. [Big Grin]

Thanks for the suggestions, y'all. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet, so if you have more suggestions, please feel free to post 'em. [Big Grin]

Edited for clarity, which was sadly lacking in the original.
