Yahoo! turned 10 years old today. anybody with a Yahoo account will see a coupon for free ice cream at the bottom of the screen, personalized for them. Coupon good for today only. Free goodness just for using their free services. How on earth could you go wrong?

Isn't "Baskin" the name of Tim Robbin's little girl?

I have a yahoo ID. I went and found a coupon and printed it out. Was checking over the fine print when I saw "valid in Continental US only".

Why the hell do they allow .ca members to print the stinking coupons in the first place? Huh? Think, Baskin Robbins, think!

And here I was so excited to go and get ice cream. [Frown]

Scratching my head trying to figure out why the two Baskin-Robbins in the large tourist town where I work are not honoring this, but the one in the small town where I live is. Huh.

Seems reminiscent of the British equivalent of "Post No Bills", which is "Bill Stickers Will Be Prosecuted".

(Addit) In fact, having had a few minutes to think about it, the article where I discovered this was telling about such a sign to which a graffiti artist had added "Bill Stickers is Innocent!"

Free Bill Stickers!
