Who's bringing what?

I'll bring Super Scrabble.

I tried to get a hospitality room, but the parlor room was already taken and all the meeting rooms are 1) very expensive and 2) rented on a day-to day basis and closed at midnight.

However, it is the student union, so there are lots of lounges and tables and such to play games in the public areas. Just nowhere to leave them set up when you’re not there. [Frown] Sorry about that. [Frown]

On the plus side, this is Iowa so the chances are that if someone saw your games sitting out, they'd clean all the pieces and return them to the same positions.

I'm hoping to introduce this game to Hatrack West Side next week. It looks like fun, and you wouldn't have to worry about leaving it in a public place too much. [Cool]

The weekend is going to be rather full. Do we actually expect to have time for board games?

Well, as I learned from observation at KamaCon -- most Hatrackers seem to never sleep -- so I'm sure some games for that 2 am to 3 am time slot would be good...

Also, some of us are sticking around for the bulk of Sunday.

Ok, assuming I figure out where they've all gotten to by then, I'm bringing Fluxx, Chrononauts, and Nanofictionary. Small and easy to pack -- I learned my lesson last time.

Besides, someone else already volunteered to bring Scrabble. [Wink]

Fluxx? Yeah!!

Game playing helps me be less shy and more social, so yeah, I'm hoping there'll be some game playing going on. [Smile]

I'll bring Cranium

I'll bring. . .

Oh.

Nevermind.

But I hope you all have lots of fun.

Rivka, is Chrononauts the one you brought to NatenJamieCon? That game's awesome, and I've been looking for it.

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Yep.

Problem is, locating Fluxx and Chrononauts is proving more difficult than I expected. (They're around here SOMEWHERE!) So if anyone else has either . . .

I have and will bring Fluxx. Don't have Chrononauts, but if you can't find yours I'll endeavor to steal dkw's.

Cool. Chrononauts was seen more recently (hmm, maybe it's still tucked into the bag I took to SLC?), and should be easier to find.

Of course, my kids have been noodging me to find Fluxx anyway. [Wink]

Chrononauts: found!

Woo-hoo! [Smile] Chrononauts is my favorite. Really, I need to pick up a copy.

And I have the expansion pack, too. [Smile]

I'll bring Taboo if there's space in my luggage.

Also found and packed: Nanofictionary.
