Has anyone else caught the commercials for Into the West yet? I saw them for the first time today, and I must say it looks promising from the 30 or 60 second glances they're allowing.

Some fairly basic info is available here, such as writers for the episodes and actors starring in them. The cast and crew looks fairly... well, for a TV miniseries, they look known.

Anyone else looking forward to this? Thoughts on whether the idea of a mutli-generational dual-sided story is a good premise / bad premise / impossible premise?

I saw a commercial a couple weeks ago, and got all excited. It didn't even look to be a miniseries at all!

*bump*

C'mon, we can't be the only people excited for this!

I saw it the other day while watching Gladiator and The Truman Show. It looks really interesting-- every time we see one of these movies, we see them from one side or the other side. But both? Rarely, if ever.

I saw the trailer on the site... really looking forward to this one.
