Over the months, I have come to respect quite a few hatrackers. I like this place. I like the people who communicate here. There has been a voyeuristic part of me that wishes I could look into your bookmarks and see what some of the common internet sources are that you use to bolster your interests.

Around Jan. 10, 2005 (the issue date of Newsweek), I read an article in Newsweek called A Tasty Way to Share Links on page 13. It talked of a community website where people can share bookmarks.

I lost the article, but tonight I found it! I have visited the website, and I am impressed.

The website is http://del.icio.us . You go there and make a free account, and then you can put in any bookmark you have. Other people can surf your bookmarks according to Tags you assign the individual links.

You can search the database and add other people's bookmarks to your list. It is all done on the web , so, like hotmail, you can access it from anywhere. Your homepage is essentially the URL/"user id." Mine is http://del.icio.us/leemmeel .

Does anyone have an account here? Who all wants to join me and make their book marks public?

I am still in the experimental stage and have only put in 2 bookmarks on my page. I will add more later--I am off to bed now.

Don't have an account yet but it sounds interesting, and it would save me from having to double-bookmark for things that I use at both home and work. I'll check into it further later today (once my boss is gone...)

Changed the name to include the word "game." I hope this gets more attention.
