They aren't candid shots because those shots are the kind breeders need to evaluate pups. And they were a real pain in the derrier to get too.

So cute... I'm very sad I can't have one. [Cry] My cat would probably try to eat it.

<----wishes he still had his dog. Ah well, there is always my "brother" Sam. My parent's have this little dog that they jokingly call my brother. *shrugs* He likes when I visit....don't know why....is it because I'm the only one that let's him out without a leash?

Oh there is a mistake. I accidentally loaded Rocco's picture twice, once for Knuckles. I'll get that corrected tonight. Hopefully my ftp server won't have the conniptions it had last night.

AJ, they're so gorgeous! I still can't believe you're taking care of so many dogs - I could never, ever do that and you are obviously doing a fantastic job.

These guys are SO sweet. Can't wait to meet them.

Trevor, I mean you don't see them romping and playing and being "puppyish" I actually have a great one of a puppy asleep in the food dish, that I should post.

*gasp*

Scandalous!

Well why not announce this on Hatrack. You'll both see it here first.
After discussion with my breeder friends all day.

Kwisni, you are getting either Duck or Knuckles, likely Duck.

fugu, you will be getting either Orange or Green, the other of which I will be keeping for myself. Purple-boomerang, will also likely be going to a show home.

kwsni! is apparently rather difficult to spell.

[Blushing] I always flip it around in my head 'cause I pronounce it as a word instead of a string of letters. Ooops.

[Big Grin] *looks greatly forward to prospective puppy*

Do you do puppy personality tests like the one described in "The Art of Raising a Puppy," AJ?

Posted by TMedina (Member # 6649) on :

For some reason, I really want to see the photo of the pup asleep in the food dish. [Big Grin]

Oh, so cute! Too bad I already have a dog that probably won't take too kindly to a puppy invading HER territory.

I call myself Kws half the time, and k-w-s-n-i the rest of the time. Kws works cause it's pronounceable.

I am SO excited aobut this puppy, that I went out and bought a dog training book. I'd like to teach this puppy to herd at some point far down the road.

Awwww.... I love Orange and Glyph. They are just so pretty. The others are cute, too. But, those two just grab me.

[Frown] <-- Cause I can't have one.

Dagonee, I haven't done the exact personality tests described in the "Art of Raising a Puppy" even though I'm not opposed to them.

Watching the litter in action as they play, normally gives you a pretty good insight into most of the puppies though. For example Glyph is *always* wandering around and the last one back into the house. She likes playing with the others, but definitely has a more independent streak.

Duck is at the bottom of the pack. However he's always starting something and always getting beaten down, so you can't say he doesn't ask for it. I think he would have loads of drive if asked to work with livestock.

Knuckles is dominant, by the virtue of being nearly a pound heavier than any other puppy. Though they can try, no one actually beats him down very long. This definitely comes across in an arrogance to his personality, even though he's still sweet.

My two smallest girls, are both scrappers too, much like Duck. The lightest one Panama, is so thin because she never stays in place more than a few seconds and is always trotting off to see something new.

Rocco is big, mellow and lazy. He started out bigger than Knuckles, but is too lazy to care to eat more. He'd rather sleep. He'll respond to shennanigans, but doesn't normally start anything.

Glyph is a firecracker. She's one of the ones that is always starting something, normally picking on the little guys so they retaliate. Brunhilda is mellower, not quite the firecracker Glyph is, but not quite as mellow as Rocco. She doesn't tend to push herself forward as much.

Left out a few but you get the idea.

'Hilda was the one I liked best from the pictures, and of course the name is approrpiate for my family =) If I could pick one, she'd be the one I'd take.

And I say (think) it as "quiz-knee" LOL

Thanks, AJ. I love puppy shenanigans. And I love hearing experts explain stuff like this on almost any subject.

Soooo cute.

I think Purple (Boomerang) is the prettiest of them all. I'm in love. But, I'm not in the market for a Corgi, and I'm certainly not looking for a show dog.

I hope she does really well, though! I'd *love* to see her on TV some day, and be like, "I've always loved that dog!" heehee - I'm a dork.
