I understand there are logistical issues (running time, "who's-the-hero?",etc) but ever since Ender's Shadow I've often wondered about the Ender's Game film and how it would look if it had the parallel story arcs of Ender and Bean interlaced. Both stories, one film. Interlaced. Competing Points of View.
Or, rather, Two films shot concurrently. Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow (for continuity of Actors, if no other reason). They could be shot differently, have different tones, styles, timbres, while maintaining the real sense that these are events unfolding concurrently.

I know, it would never work. It's just the kind of 4-hour movie I'd like to see, though.

Beggars can still be dreamers.

*wondering at the quirkiness of eyes that see "buggers can be dreamers"*

You used the word timbre! And you spelled it right!! You must be a musician. I'm an oboist, you?

Welcome to Hatrack. [Smile] I think that's a very interesting idea, I bet it would come off really well. I'd watch it (or them, either way)!

They are combining Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow in the Ender's Game script. No one knows how, but it will definitely be less than 4 hours.

[How long d'you think it'l take someone to dobie this?]

WW: Although we have much discussed this infinitely waited-for movie I don't think this idea has come up. It sounds like a very good idea! At this point though, your wishing is right...

Not a musician, just a stickler.

Thanks for all the feedback, and welcomes and bugger-y.

sorry...that was unfortunate.

Aww...oh well, I appreciate a good vocabulary just as much as I appreciate a fellow musician. My welcome still stands. [Wink]
