Now that I see that being a moderator isn't something that is passed to the mod's children like being a king or a slave, I was wondering how one goes about becoming mod.

Firstly I'd like to announce that I have a healthy obesession with power. I like feeling superior to other people and knowing I could crush them if they annoy me.

I'm sane and thus hate Republicans. All Republicans would be banned and we'd all be saved alot of hassle. Only Republicans who are idiots would be allowed to stay so that we can all enjoy a hearty laugh at them.

I think OSC is a swell guy, unlike Pops who I heard making fun of the great author and his "crazy mormon beliefs", as he put it.

Now, I understand that it's OSC who decides this. But I think he should really listen to what the members of this board want. And I think Pop, being a good fellow like he is, should step down if I have more support.

So cast your votes now!

I want Annie. Don't you?

Yeah, Annie!

I think we're taking the notion of self-love to therapist-only levels.

I know what you guys are doing, and it's sweet, really sweet.

KathrynHPerson is upset at her new, very high member number. So you start a thread practially guaranteeing people will create multiple aliases so as to inflate the user numbers and make Kathryn's look lower.

What a guy you are, jebus.

This is ridiculous, clearly all these Annie supporters are clones.

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

I disagree, Trevor.

I think most therapists would run screaming.

Posted by Annie-kind #5 (Member # 7501) on :

Let's overthrow the jebuses!

(Jebi?)

Posted by TMedina (Member # 6649) on :

Yes Annie, that is another and perfectly acceptable form of self-love.

Although I think a different kind of therapist is needed for that discussion. [Razz]

Sorry Rivka - I didn't know who else to inflict Hatrack's problem children on. [Big Grin]

This isn't a revolution! This is a democratic election!

I wouldn't trust Jebus to moderate an ant farm.

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

I'm actually surprised and amazed to say that I think this thread is hilarious.

But I ain't voting for either of you. [Razz]

Posted by Annie-kind #5 (Member # 7501) on :

Okay. You know Pops is the mod now, Trevor, don't you? Don't you?

None 'a that. [No No]

Posted by Annie-kind #1 (Member # 7497) on :

ElJay, we're not Annie. We're just some righteous dudes all into the Annie-kind luv.

Trevor wins.

you didn't use a smiley in that post so you can't be hobbes. [Smile]

I remember your first appearance, Annie-kinds, and I didn't really think you were her. [Smile] But I didn't know how else to phrase it.

Sweet!

(We dig Hobbes, too.)

Trevor, you'd better watch out, or our new mod is going to get on you for onanism references. [Taunt]

Annie recognizes and appreciates the support of her constit'chency, but remains enigmatically politically neutral, just in case.

In fact, Annie is Switzerland.

Vive la Suisse!

Posted by Annie-kind #2 (Member # 7498) on :

Um, we had a mini-conference, and we're sorry about yelling down the jebi.

We just got a little excited. We do that sometimes.

Hey, wanna party, jebi? [Party]

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Anyone remember "Muppets Tonight"? The cheese thing?

"We are Swiss! We are Swiss! We are neutral!"

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

*nicks some of Annie's chocolate*

Posted by Portabello (Member # 7710) on :

Is you is, or is you ain't Annie's contit'ency?

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Usin' the Confed'rate flag as a mis-sile. Did you ever hear such!

Posted by TMedina (Member # 6649) on :

Just be glad I was preoccupied with writing a response to the "10,000" thread to capitalize on the "righteous Annie-luv" comment. [Big Grin]

I have the feeling that people aren't taking this seriously enough.

Try to act sensible! This is a very important election! Get those partying 7up guys out of here.

I of course will be voting against.

Except there won’t be a vote since I’m calling for a filibuster.

Posted by jebus202 (Member # 2524) on :

But Jay, I left a specific clause whereby you could stay after the Republican sweep!

And this is the thanks I get... ::shakes head::

Posted by Jay (Member # 5786) on :

I figured as much, but since there are some 7,500 members and you need 60% to break a filibuster I think you’re doomed!

Actually I would bet that Kristine was the one who picked PapaJanitor.

And you have to be a conservative to be a Mod.

I should know.

What's wrong with Pop?
He's a cool guy and deserves to say anything her feels like saying about anybody. Personally, I detest Republican ideals as well, but I don't see why we should get politics involved in choosing a board moderator. I think we should give Pop a chance. He's a "senior member" and should be respected as so. I like everything you said Jebusess, but personally, I'd rather "try out" Pop first.

[ROFL] why didn't I see this thread earlier??

I don't think Pops will be a bad moderator - I'm just giving grief because...well...I can. [Big Grin]

You make me laugh, Jeebs. I'll vote for you...for a price.

I won't post it because I'm not much of one for dobies, but a glance at the title of this thread had me (mis)reading it as "interested in becoming a god?"

"Now that I see that being a diety isn't something that is passed to the god's children like being a king or a slave, I was wondering how one goes about becoming god."

The thing that got me thinking, is that all of those Jebus nicks were made over two years ago. He must have known they would come in handy.....WITCH!
