Ok, I had this bizarre dream last night. I'm dressed in black and standing on the roof of a tall building. I think the building is some kind of casino. It is dark and windy up there.
Anyway, I jump off the roof. I am falling, but nothing bad happens to me. The next thing I know, I'm back up there. I jump off again. Again, it seems like nothing bad happens to me.
After several times, a figure joins me on the roof. It is too dark to see his face, but he is also dressed in black and he comes through the rooftop door and I walk away from the edge toward him. I stop in front of him and say, rather matter-of-factly, "You know, out of the six times I've done this, I've only survived it twice."
Weird, huh? I woke up with that quote ringing in my head and vowed to remember it until morning. It would be good in a short story.
Thoughts?

Sounds Matrix-y. Figures in black, jumping off roofs and surviving. Are you telling us you can dodge bullets?

Are you doing or about to do something you know you shouldn't do? Or something you haven't had much luck or success with in the past?
