I can't seem to post things well anymore. Not my misspelling, not grammar problems....

All my posts over 4 sentences won't post. [Frown]

Does the length of sentences matter?

Test.
Test.
Test.
Test.

Edit: Well, if the word "Test" qualifies as a sentence, then it works fine for me... [Frown]

It seems to be just you. Maybe it's related to the problem you had on the recipe site - that involves long text posts as well.

I know...what could it be? I have no idea, and this has neven been a problem before.

either it says "this document has no content" (mozilla firefox), or cannot find site (IE)..I tried both.

Is your connection spotty? Maybe large posts are timing out.

Nope...it is DSL, and I have not been having a problem until yesterday.

The ISP there is mine....but it ways that it doesn't reconize it? Well, it i the ISP of my router, anyway...it is set and everything, that is the only reason I reconize it myself....

I am confused....

I have tried everything but editing the reg, as recommended by a site I read doing a search for this.

Turns out doubleclick, which I KNOW I had, changes something in the reg and that makes long posts fail...although I am not sure that is what is happening to me here. After all, I use firefox for almost everything, but still have IE installed because my work site won't accept mozilla firefox, and this issue happens no matter which I use.

Weird....anyone have any ideas?

(BTW, this seems to be as long as I can go without having a problem with length.)

I can't for the life of me think of what would cause shorter posts to go through while stopping all contact with a site on longer sites.

I keep getting the "no data in document" error.

I even changed the timeout functon in firefox, thinking that might be a problem....but it wasn't the problem at all.

Weird.

Spyware is the cause of almost all system problems these days, it seems. At least that is how it feels here at work when I spend all day cleaning crap off of people's machines.....

I was hoping you would show up, Farmgirl, but somehow I seemed to not only have fixed it but made Firefox MUCH faster while I did so.

I guess the 3 spyware remover programs I used were good for something after all.....even if I did almost use Spy Hunter, which is spyware in and of itself....I downloaded it, but then caught what it was and got rid of it before ever running it....then I used notes from sites on how to check to make sure it was gone.

I was up to 2 am, but at least I learned a lot.... [Smile]
