Where do we live?

Click on the button with the globe on it to mark where you live!

It's been done before, but it's been a long time.

I marked mine.

Done. [Smile]

We've done this before. I believe Glynn was the one who started it.

The problem was that around 100 pins it started deleting the first pins. Very annoying. I think we tried to limit it to "oldbies" but that sort of exclusivity never works out right.

Sorry, I didn't know. I am still fairly new around here. Well, there it is anyway.

Couldn't get it to work then, can't get it to work now. I can see the map and view everyone's entries, but it won't let me post one.

I posted here too ... but I'm a total newbie.

Now I feel unwanted [Cry]

I'm on there (I was never on the old one). [Big Grin]

Hey Miriya [Wave] , I'm going to share your pin, okay? I'm in Central Toronto and it would be silly to pile pins on top of one another!

[Smile]

Makes sense to me.Too bad we can't edit our posts to add names. The Canadian pins seem to be in the majority, wonder how long that will last.

Edit: didn't last long [Wink]

Just warning that there could be a problem. It was about 2 years ago we did this (I would guess) and so maybe they have updated the software to better allow for more pins.

I wasn't saying we should do the exclusive thing again Miriya, and I believe I was against it the first time. Just relating history [Smile] .

Edit: Oh and welcome to hatrack!

Fun.
See if I get any more WV pins

Posted by Farmgirl (Member # 5567) on :

I shouldn't have used a real e-mail address. This is going to start sending me SPAM now, isn't it?

It makes you fill in all the information field before it will let you post a pin.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

What would be nice, would be if people in big city areas could get together and post joint pins. Of course, I didn't do it, but...

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Oh, and FG, I just changed "net" to "nert" in mine, so spambots or automatic systems won't get through.

I'm going to share Ryuko's from beautiful St. Paul Minnesota!

Posted by HesterGray (Member # 7384) on :

Unanticipated side-effect: It sends me an email every time someone adds themselves. Hee hee.

Kama and Anna -- you look kinda lonely over there on your side of the map...

Posted by Taelani (Member # 7562) on :

ok, so I'm more of a lurker than anything, but I *do* generally spend a couple hours a day reading through all the posts... [Big Grin]

Hello from northern Alabama [Wave]

Posted by HesterGray (Member # 7384) on :

OK, it's officially started deleting people. Me, for one. [Smile]

Posted by Corwin (Member # 5705) on :

No better than the last one, huh? Oh well... I think that what "they" (I wasn't really here when it started) did was make two different maps, one for US hatrackers, and one for none-US ones, or something like that. Dunno if it's a good idea or not, just saying... [Dont Know]

do I put where I live at school or where I live at home?

Posted by HesterGray (Member # 7384) on :

Whichever you want. I put where I live at school, but then my school and home are only an hour and twenty minutes apart, so it didn't make much of a difference anyway.

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

It seems to max out at 25, and then starts tossing the oldest ones. Rude. [Razz]

Who is Esther in Highland Park, NJ? I lived in Edison until I was 7, and still know lots of people over there. [Wave]

Dan_Raven: I didn't realize I lived so close to another Hatracker. [Wave] I was just in St. Clair the other day.

Yes !!! I am on the map !

It's a fun idea ! hep jebus ! You are on the east cost of Ireland ? You know i think making the Ireland turn next summer. I'd like to look this cost.
This map is very cool.

Posted by Bella Bee (Member # 7027) on :

I'm there. So far I'm the only Britisher.
[Cool] for uniqueness. [Frown] for lonesomeness.

Posted by papercrane (Member # 7877) on :

I barely missed being a Britisher by a few months. Also, because my parents had strong accents for the linguistically formative years of my life, I go into English-Mode during times of stress or great organization. My friends laugh at me.

Uh, but anyway--I'm on. Don't know if I should be--I haven't posted half a dozen times here--but I intend to stick around...

Toronto? I thought Teshi was from England. Am I losing my mind? [Confused]
