She's gonna be there June 20th. I totally want to go, but not really by myself, and I doubt any of my friends will agree to make the trip on a Monday.

Hmmm... Where were you going with this?!? [Mad]

Actually her latest album, "So-called chaos", is an excellent one. It has everything, from heart-felt ballads like This grudge and Everything to the more full of rhythm but equally good Not all me, Knees of my bees or Excuses. And the lyrics are as good as ever! [Smile]

And if you get to see her live, it's even better! I have, last summer, on June 28th, here in Lyon, and it was marvelous! So yeah, there still are Alanis fans out there, and I'm proud to be one of them. [Cool]

Yeah, I gotta say Alanis is still amazing. I'm personally a huge fan, although I didn't like her So Called Chaos as much as Under Rug Swept.
Anyways, that's all I wanted to say...I wont be in town around then, but good luck!

If there are people with scat fetishes than I suppose it stands to reason that there would be people who like alanis morisette.

Yes, vocal improvisation is very popular in jazz.
