Also, looks like Brian Cox is no longer voicing Aslan. And disney is planning to do four of the books, provided Narnia does well in the box office (DUH).

The article goes on to say that the trailer will premiere May 7th (my guess would be during the showing of "Chamber of Secrets" on ABC that night) and that all of the represenatives there are interested in seeing the entire series get adapted _if_ response is very good. (I know that some of the 7 Chronicles would be hard to adapt. MN, despite being very good changes story gears a LOT. HHB lacks a "real world" kid and doesn't show Narnia until the very end. LB is depressing and downbeat until the coda in Aslan's Country. And of course...both HHB and LB have potential problems with racism accusations.)

Sean Bean would be my fav out of the list of replacement voices for Aslan.

I don't see how they can do all the books. Magician's Nephew seems to me like it would be an extremely weird and pointless book.

Sure it explains how Narnia was created and how Jadis got there, but, it's, just, not movieworthy. There's no action, it would only be like an hour long. Silver Chair would be funky but it will make a good movie, same with Prince Caspian and Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Horse and His Boy will be a very good movie too.

Regardless, I'm VERY excited about LWW. I ordered my tickets for Star Wars last night, very excited about all of it.
