I was taking the Honors English test, so I could get into the Advanced class, for High School next year. And I was supposed to write an essay. No problem, but it was supposed to be about an expierence that changed the way you viewed things in life. I did mine on the 'OO and '04 elections, even an idiot can get elected president. And then proved my point with every fact I had in my head. I turned it in. And then I thought to myself, in these exact words, " Oh crap! What if the teacher is a Republican?" I did end it with a Douglas Adams quote though. [Big Grin]

Then you learn a valuable life lesson sooner than most. [Smile]

Well, if you used the actual word "idiot" I think that might tend to undermine your credibility. Also, if you really used capital O for 0.

mothertree- Oops!

Dag- That should be a helpful lesson. I just hope she isn't a Republican.

I think you mean 0ops. My point with "idiot" is that it is a word with a specific technical definition that I doubt actually applies to any presidential victor. Even Clinton :ba da bing:

I don't think the technical definition applies anymore. Kind of like geek.

I am very curious as to what these facts are. Very. Care to share?

How did the elections change the way you view things? The way you just described your essay, it sounds more like conveying your anti-Republican opinions.

Perhaps he feels it taught him something about republicans? *shrug*

[edit] alright, I admit, that sounded really bad. it wasn't supposed to, and I'm too lazy right now to rephrase it.
