...and, wonder of wonders, it not only works now, it doesn't smell musty and make me and Emma sneeze any more!
I love having him home, even if it is on "mental health leave". (The stress was so much it was physically making him ill. I got my dad to call him in until Monday, speaking as his physician.)

Long live the King..... or is it the prince consort. I always get my royal titles mixed up.

He's a little grumpy about not being the King, although I explained it to him very nicely.
If you ever meet him, you are welcome to refer to him by the incorrect title. It may just make his day. Just don't tell him I gave you permission.

It's really handy having a doctor as a father, isn't it?

Soooo handy. And when I lose my inhaler or spacer, he just sends me another. Unless I need one desperately, in which case he phones in the prescription to the pharmacy and sends us money to cover it the next day.

Also, between him and my mom, I know exactly when it's a good idea to take the baby in and when they're just going to tell me what I knew anyway.

Yep, handy.
I, on the other hand, have no problems with prescriptions. Here, if you want a drug, you go to the drugstore and ask for it. Then it's given to you. Probably not for the narcotics, although I don't really know - haven't tried. And then my district president is a doctor, and he doesn't mind me calling him about medical stuff. Not as good as your system, but it does in a pinch.

Have you tried Ultram yet? My dad gets my prescription for me, so I never have to pay for it.

I haven't. I meant to, but forgot to put it on the shopping list, and couldn't remember its name. I'll toss it on the list now so I don't forget. Again.

It is soooo worth it. And I usually have icky reactions to medicines, but this one just makes me a little happy. Euphoric, maybe. It works best if you take it at the same time as some ibuprofen, right before eating a small meal or snack.

Cool. And euphoric, even. Huh. Could be a drug of choice. *snorts a line* Oh wait, you didn't see that...

*giggle*
I do sometimes wonder what makes me recommend it so heartily...
