While no one on this board has any reason to take my word for it, I offer it nonetheless -- go out and rent "The Twilight Samurai." It is a Japanese film with English subtitles that was up for best foriegn film in the 2004 Oscars I believe. It is a wonderful movie. I hope you all discover it for yourselves. It isn't a blood'n'guts type of film at all. Really, it is mostly about family and the duties that people must carry.

Whoa! I just re-watched this movie tonight with some family and friends. Great film.
