"Kinda cool" in the sense that it automatically does something you'd rarely want to do on your own . . . ever.

I'm not sure what just happened, but I got this:
quote:En god stil må først og fremst være klar. Den må være passende. Aristoteles.
over and over again for 267 pages.

Wow.
Typing =rand(1,1) is a little tamer.

Really St. Yogi? I got "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" over and over.

That's actually a pretty cool feature. I didn't know Word did greek text like that.

"En god stil må først og fremst være klar. Den må være passende. Aristoteles."
=
"A good essay must first and foremost be clear. It must be fitting. Aristotle."
In Norwegian.
Bizarre.

I had "Servez à ce monsieur une bière et des kiwis" over and over.

In Word, the rand() function inserts stock typewriter text -- language-appropriate, obviously -- into a number of paragraphs, with a number of repetitions per paragraph, as defined by the digits inside the parens.

Wise words from the back of a Lillois café.

(x,y) where x is the number of paragraphs and y is the number of repeats per paragraph.
Where the actual text comes from I cannot figure. I got 'quick fox,' too. Maybe it's automatic with a certain language/locale/keyboard setting.
Edit: yeah, what Tom said Posted by Anna (Member # 2582) on :
It's the text I can see when seeing an exemple of a font, too.

Well, you DO know what the "quick fox" sentence represents in English, don't you?
^ | | dumb question.
Posted by Anna (Member # 2582) on :
I guess it shows all letters ?
Posted by Intelligence3 (Member # 6944) on :
Oui.
Posted by advice for robots (Member # 2544) on :
Yup. I'm surprised that your sentence in French doesn't show all the letters.
Posted by Grisha (Member # 6871) on :
mine says:
quote: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
and only goes on for 179 pages

I tried changing the default language but it still comes up with the fox sentence. Im not sure how to get it to show other things.
