A European promotional flyer for 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' had some images of these characters.

See them here...

There's also an image of the Pevensie children climbing a cliff of some sort, Jadis with her wand, Aslan's face, and that "Polar Bear Chariot" conceptual art.

Tumnus is exactly right. Oh, so exactly right.

Father Christmas is so right as well.

I love that they gave Tumnus little goat ears. [Big Grin]

And, I'm _so_ relieved that they didn't make Father Christmas look like Santa Claus, as they did in the BBC/Wonderworks adaptation.

Hear that?

It's the sound of fan fiction and shrines getting ready to be born.

But no such love for the Witch's Dwarf. Poor fellow.

When did the Witch use polar bears to pull a chariot?

I thought this would be about CT's stomach

She'll be using them during the climactic battle between her army and Aslan's Narnians.

The film will show almost the entire battle, while the book only showed the pivotal moment when Aslan and the revived stone Narnians came in to reinforce Peter's army just as he was on the verge of losing to the Witch.

So, they have a lot of room for interpretation.

Hmmmm...not sure about Jadis' hair.

I thought she used reindeer to pull her sled. Not that I mind the change, it's not really substantive, just a minor visual.

She does use reindeer to pull her sledge. The Polar Bear Chariot is for the climactic battle, during Narnia's springtime...when a sledge just won't work anymore. The conceptual art has it in wintertime, but that's not the way it is the finished film.

As far as her hair goes, I think they're trying to make it look like even her hair is frozen.
