You were right about cashew butter. Yum!

And the tahini was a big hit too. Tried that for the first time last night.

Cashew butter really is good.

Is that like peanut butter ... using cashews? Aren't cashews a type of peanut? Is cashew butter a subclass of peanut butter?

Cashews a type of peanut? Why, I've never heard such. [No No]

Posted by kaioshin00 (Member # 3740) on :

Err. A type of nut?

Posted by plaid (Member # 2393) on :

Cashews are a completely different sort of nut -- they grow on tropical trees and aren't related at all to peanuts. (And peanuts are technically not even nuts -- they're legumes that grow in the dirt.)

Anyway, yeah, cashew butter is a nutbutter made using cashews, and it's my favorite nutbutter.

So never mind. Maybe peanut butter and cashew butter are sublcasses of .. nut butter. O_O

I'll just stop talking now.

Gah never mind, there is a such term as nut butter. [Angst]

*hates peanuts*

*enjoys cashews now and then*

What do you like better, cashew butter or ketchup?

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Well, duh, ketchup.

That's my answer to most "what do you like better" questions. Now, chocolate or potatoes or cheesecake vs. ketchup might be harder.

Posted by kaioshin00 (Member # 3740) on :

Potatoes?

Hmm.

What do you like more, french fries without ketchup, or ketchup?

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Ketchup.

hmmm I love cashews, they are probably my favorite nut variety. Cashew butter sounds fantastic.

AJ, you have to try the kind from plaid's place (or rather former place). (well, former allied place).

Anyway, I know we aren't supposed to plug products here, but if you go to the Organic Food store and get EastWind nut butters, you can thank plaid for a taste sensation.

Wow!

I think my favorite is still the Almond butter, but Cashew is pretty darn special too.

Ah, heck, they're all good.

As long as you like it... That's the important thing. *Vomits.*

How about french fries dipped in chocolate sauce vs. ketchup cheesecake?

I agree, the East Wind Cashew Butter Plaid got me for the holiday exchange is amazing, the other two were good too, but the cashew was gone very fast, we still have some of one left (forget which).

Hey now... remember, this is the Cards' living room -- behave yourself and clean that up. [No No]
