It's not quite up to the level of James Lileks' compilations, but this is still a fairly amusing retro look at kitsch art of the past...in this case "adorable animals".

Disturbingly sugary lambs, rabbits, cats, fawns, puppies, horsies, duckies...oh, my...just so precious.

The sporadic text is by Michael J. Nelson, of "Mystery Science Theater 3000" and "Mind Over Matters" fame.

If you have a strong stomach for the stuff that almost-but-not-quite crosses the pop art/camp border, check it out.
