Rather than resurrect the planning thread, I'm just make a short new one.

Photos from the Kansas gathering (held in honor of Noemon's trip to Kansas for the holiday weekend) -- which took place at Kayla's house on Saturday.

Photos HERE

(Kayla -- I purposefully did not use your son's given name on the photo captions since I didn't have your permission to do so -- so he is just referred to as "Kayla's son" on those photos. I can change that if desired.)

Tracy, you do a nice job of taking people pics.

It was nice to meet the rest of your clan. I hope the boys will rest easier now that they have met some of us.

Did any of those CD's work for ya?

Oh yes! I forgot to tell you -- even the OOG file worked right off in the truck CD player. Haven't played the whole thing yet -- the kids wanted something a little more "upbeat" for the trip home! [Wink]

(forty lashes to you, though - for misspelling our last name in that other thread....) *wink*

Punwit,

I was thinking that you should contact OSC for a little mutualistic relationship building. He gets tired of travelling around to all his signings sometimes, so you could take over. In turn, you could benefit from all the restaurants he has already reviewed, and maybe make some sort of percentage.

Or, perhaps he could sit in on your kids' soccer games or music recitals while you go fishing and drink beer.

Why would I let him get all the good assignments? If he'd be available for PITA customers I would seriously consider it, but I ain't givin up my daughter's performances for no one.

So, how about it Scott? Are you up for dealing with crotchety, finicky customers in exchange for some rest from your tiresome travel schedule?

Farmgirl, my husband is enjoying the eggs very much. Of course, he didn't know he was enjoying them at first. I only told him after he'd them a couple of times. He didn't even notice. (I was afraid he wouldn't eat them because he said sometimes they are "gamy." [Roll Eyes]

The interesting thing I noticed is that they scramble much better.

Glad to hear it!
Yes, farm free-range eggs are usually much higher in protein, thus more yellow coloring and a little different consistency, which makes them scramble better. Because the chickens, instead of eating only processed grain in a 3x5 cage, are instead allowed to run around and eat bugs, grass, seeds, and anything else they can find! [Smile]

I have no excuse for not getting fresh eggs. There is someone up the road who sells them. Thanks for the reminder.

So where is Kayla in those pics?

Kayla asks to not be photographed. She took the group photo for us. She's kinda like CT in that way...
