So, I've lived in the same city as Frisco for a few months. In fact, I probably live within walking distance from him. But, I've emailed him, I've given him my number. He even concieded that we should get together.

But, I can't get him to give me a friggin' call! Wassup' with that?

Sorry, Scott. I work waaaay too much and sleep most of the rest of the time. And I just had a new nephew born that now takes up some of the precious sleeping hours.

But I'm off tomorrow because my hip hurts like the dickens, so do you wanna grab lunch?

Take pictures! Have fun! Remember to bring the bottle of oil! [Wave]

[Evil]

You? Work too much?

LOL

Now THAT was funny. [Wink]

When I work, I work too much. When I vacation, I vacation too long. [Razz]

Well, according to normal standards.

it all has to balance somehow.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

I think it involves shirtlessness and lots of gleaming oil.

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

good thing he's not your husband, kq. You'd spend all your savings on oil.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

Nah. We buy big tins of oil for just $2.50 a litre at the Greek store down the street. [Big Grin]

Frisco, I'm working for the Guard for the month this month and the "lunch break" is only a half hour. Some lunch that is. So, I can't do it today.

Maybe Saturday...

Posted by Frisco (Member # 3765) on :

Well what time do you get off? I'm free most of the day, aside from running errands and visiting the nephew.

Posted by scottneb (Member # 676) on :

Since I'm not Active Duty anymore I'm under a contractural agreement to not work more than eight hours a day. Which is so much better than the ten to twelve hours per day when I was on Active. w00t!

I came in early today so I'll be off around 3:30. We're short on cash until Friday so I'm kinda limited. But, if you want to get together, just give a ring.

Is kat offering to lick us or what, Scott?

Is ketchupqueen's obsession freaking anyone else out?

Posted by Kama (Member # 3022) on :

Taal, she's just the only one talking about it outloud...

Nope! She's a little wild and crazy AND she's economical! What more could you ask for?

is this a private thread? I don't want to feel like the annoying neighbor always butting in.

This made me choke on my CFD Dr. Pepper.

Yeah, but you're not married [Razz] . That's the difference.

Perhaps I should change 'freaked out' to 'squicked out'.

Of course, it's none of my business, just an observation. I know it's meant to be completely harmless and all, but, well, anyway. That's just the reaction I get. Sorry.

Every conversation I have with a Mormon comes back to that.

Cod Frelling Darn?

Taking swearing to a whole different level.

Caffiene-Free Diet. But sure, codfrellingdarn will work.

Ooh, I love Caffiene-free Diet Dr. Pepper. It makes the list of obcessions right below ketchup, Rivka's hair, and Frisco shirtless, covered in oil, and gleaming in the sun. [Wink]

(If I wasn't happily married, I wouldn't be making posts like that. Wouldn't want people getting the wrong idea. [Smile] )

Frisco is cute, but he reminds me of my cousin Brian. A lot. Not that inbreeding is unheard of where I come from, but...

[Wink]

Oh, my stars. My hair is higher on the list than a Crisco'd Frisco? [Angst]

How long have you been waiting to use that one, rivka?

[edit] *tick tock*

Actually, I came up with it as I was writing the post. I was initially thinking "greased Frisco," but this is so much more assonantal. [Big Grin]

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

*strokes Rivka's hair*

(Literally!)

(I am so going to wait until you're not expecting it anymore and do something horrible with this. [Evil Laugh] )

(Oh, and it's a beautiful phrase, but I prefer grapeseed oil. It doesn't have that slightly icky, rancid-ish taste if you lick it off.)

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

*firmly* I don't believe in voodoo.

However, I am somehow hesitant to dismiss you with, "Well, what could you do with it already?"

Canola oil has no appreciable after taste either.

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

I can taste canola oil. Besides, grapeseed oil is cheaper, and it lowers your cholesterol! [Big Grin]

As for the hair, it's worse than you can imagine. [Evil Laugh]

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Canola lowers cholesterol as well.

I don't like the taste of grapeseed oil. *shrug*
