So*, I'm back. I think Mama already mentioned that, though, right?

I've spent much of the morning catching up on Hatrack, and to be honest, I'm not sure I remember much of anything I've read. I really need a nap, because my body is in this time zone but my brain is not. It's not you, it's me.

I borrowed a laptop to take with me to Uganda, and I was able to jot down some notes and thoughts. Unfortunately, the battery life of the laptop was a whole two minutes, so I could really only use it while it was plugged in, and the power was off more than it was on where we were. I also didn't have all that much time to write things, since we didn't stop working for much more than meals and sleep. But hopefully the notes I took will help me to remember what I was going through both physically and mentally during my days, and I'll recount some of them for those of you who are interested (yep, both of you).

Um... I'll have more to say, really. I missed you guys, and thought about you a lot (not as much as I missed Mama and the kids, but still). If anyone wants to summarize the important events of the last two weeks (approx.) of Hatrack here, that'd be great, too. *smile*

LOL, El Jay, my first thought on seeing the title to this thread was that Pops went to very boring parties if turning OUT the lights meant the party was over.

Oh, but we blew up Mercury on accident, so don't worry about the number of planets, just think of it as a nice little trade...

Now, that doesn't really work with your sentence, because it's not that he "switched" screennames, he switched screennames. See, no little quote marks in the air for that case.
