My sister is getting married very soon, and we're going to be having a bachlorette weekend in Montreal. Two nights, and we're a bit stuck for one.

Friday night is going to be the "wild" night, and Saturday is going to be the "mild". We're planning a fancy dinner for the Saturday, but we need something to do in the evening.

Is there anyone here who can recommend a good bachlorette party game? Preferably in the PG or PG-13 realm? Or any ideas? I'm pretty stumped.

Anyway, thanks. [Smile]

Edit: This has become an even more important question since I've been browsing the 'net, and all I am finding is some really raunchy stuff. To clarify, this would be a game for after dinner when the girls are hanging out in the hotel or something. The "night on the town" is going to be the Wild Friday thing.

I saw one that was really funny...

The wedding party took lifesavers and stuck them to a t-shirt, and made her wear it in public...and then made her approach men (headdress and all) and had them eat the lifesavers off of the shirt.

It lead to some really interesting conversations and positions, but in public so that nothing too bad was said (or done). [Big Grin]

It would take a lot of preparation, but some kind of beefcake movie trivia game might be good. Like 3 degrees of Val Kilmer.

Kwea, I've seen that, but the men had to pay for the honor. The shirt said "Suck for a buck". Apparently most men grab the shirt and move the lifesaver to a more appealing location on the girl's body. [Eek!]

And no, it wasn't my wife this happened to. She had a list of embarrassing questions she had to get answered by specific types of men during her night out.

Well, you could always go back to that old slumber party favorite: Truth or Dare! [Wink]

I've seen the following games some work for out on the town but some are great for your siutation.

For your situation:

Ask the bride to be a bunch of questions and then ask all the party goes the questions. Everyone must read their answers aloud. The person who gets the most right wins. We had some funny ones mainly b/c of what people answered.

Get a bunch of TP. Split people into teams. One person is the model everyone else on the team uses the TP to make a wedding dress.

Interview the groom to be. Ask the bride a bunch of questions. Give her a prize for all the ones she gets right.

We also played the questions game when out. This mostly involved a scavanger hunt where she looked for people who had certain features or knew things like what the value of pi was to a certain number of digits. She also had to try to get people to do things like dance on a table.

Also I think the trick to a good bachlorette party is to be just dirty enough to be silly but not so much that anyone especially the bride to be is uncomfortable. The parties I've gone to have done a very good job at this. And everyone's always had a lot of fun.

In knew a girl who had ice trays that molded the ice in the shape of a penis. She bought them for a bachelorette party, but I thought it would be kinda creepy to drink something with dozens of penises floating in it, slowly shrinking...

At a girl's night out with some married friends, we once played a game where you each had to answer questions (write down your answers on a card, separate card for each question) then the group voted on the best answer for each question. There were little prizes. I won a lolly for my answer to "What is the most unusual place you ever...?"

I'm sure you could come up with questions more suitable to the situation.

At one of my friends parties we played a murder mystery game – you each have a character and you have to find out who committed the murder. We bought a game with all the characters and the story ready made for us. Everyone needs to know their character in advance so they can dress up.

An alternative, if you know someone talented at writing, is to design your own game with a story. Participants have questions to ask and facts to reveal which act as clues as to “who done it”. Only the murderer is allowed to lie.

Not really a game but something to do. If your sister is into scrapbooking you could have everyone make pages for it. Decorate the pages with stickers and stuff then give all of them to the bride in an album to start her scrapbook for her wedding and after.
