From the FAQs page:

What does Hufu taste like? Does it taste like human flesh?
Hufu is designed to resemble, as humanly possible, the taste and texture of human flesh. If you've never had human flesh before, think of the taste and texture of beef, except a little sweeter in taste and a little softer in texture. Contrary to popular belief, people do not taste like pork or chicken.

How do you know Hufu tastes like human flesh?
The taste and texture of Hufu are the result of painstaking research and extensive testing in our kitchens. We are supremely confident that our food products would satisfy the tastes of even the most demanding cannibal.

Where did you get the name Hufu?
The original concept name was "hofu," a combination of human and tofu. However, one of our business associates was describing the product with a friend on a Eurostar train going from London to Paris. Milla Jovovich, the actress and super-model, overheard the conversation and intrigued, turned around to join in the conversation, and commented, "Hofu" sounds like [the male organ] -- you should call it "hufu." We thought her insight was highly original and insightful, and we thought Hufu definitely had a better ring to it.

Who actually buys Hufu?
Hufu was originally conceived of as a product for students of anthropology hungry for the experience of cannibalism but deterred by the legal and logistical obstacles. However, our preliminary market research revealed the existence of a larger segment of the public that was interested in the availability of a legal and healthy human flesh substitute, as well as vegetarians and vegans. We also found that Hufu is a great product for cannibals who want to quit. Hufu is also a great cannibal convenience food -- no more Friday night hunting raids! Stay at home and enjoy the flavorful, convenient human flesh alternative.

Is Hufu a vegetarian/vegan friendly?
Yes. Hufu contains no human or animal products.

Wow. What a weird world. I'm not planning on trying this but... wow.

Sounds like a joke website along the lines of www.ninjaburger.com.

Edit: Erm... I guess it isn't, I made an account just to see if it was a phony and they have a page that actually asks for your credit card details. Either it's an elaborate (and dangerous) hoax or it's very, very real.

Yummy!

If it weren't on indeterminate backorder I would have ordered some. Of course, I was less disgusted by the idea that it's supposed to taste like human flesh than the idea that it might resemble tofu, but still.
