I just saw you post in another thread, and was thinking earlier today that I hadn't seen you around recently. How'd the move go? Did KPC make it out there okay? How's the Princess adjusting? Boo says "Ada kchoo" to KP!

[Kiss]

I did mention I was back.

And KP blows Boo a kiss.

We are doing well, although not very unpacked yet! We went to a Miller (my grandma's maiden name) family picnic in Torrence this morning and afternoon. Emma was a hit. I haven't seen some of those people in years. The last time I saw one second cousin once removed, Katie, she was 5. Now she's 11! [Eek!]

So shall I delete this?

Someone should hijack this thread. Not me, cause I'm sleepy....

But someone.

OK. I haven't slept in 36 hours. I'm out as well.

Officer, I found this thread wandering around at the Museum of Science and Industry earlier... I'm pretty sure it's got a mom somewhere. Can you put out an Amber Alert?

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

[No No] Goody, Amber Alerts are SERIOUS. You are now under arrest for filing a false police report; the thread's parents were right there and YOU kidnapped the thread.

Posted by Goody Scrivener (Member # 6742) on :

but but but but the parents obviously weren't paying attention to the poor little dear! She was wandering around Game on! all alone... her folks must have been the pair hysterically giggling over Pong.

(and seriously, that exhibit was so totally awesome that I think I'm going to call in sick from work and spend the entire day at MSI playing video games... heeeeheeeee)

This thread's parents are the collective members of the Hatrack Harem, as founded by KQ and myself. Since I dig Goody, she's been officially inducted. How can you kidnap your own child?

Posted by Stan the man (Member # 6249) on :

Ummm, unfortunately that has happened before Boon.

However---

Steals thread. HAHAHA

Posted by Goody Scrivener (Member # 6742) on :

Then my comments are doubly apropos, because I was zoned into Pong and DigDug myself while my kids were tugging at my shirt... Mom, can we go do something else now????????????? Can we at least look for Pokemon??

And yay! I'm in the Harem!!! But I gotta ask, since the mommies are the Harem, who are the daddies?

I was never in a harem. But I was the Grand Vizier for a while. Pretty good gig. Better than some: My friend Wes was the Eunuch.

Goody, husbands are allowed if they do housework and/or cook well. But they are subordinate to the collective will of the Harem.

Posted by Goody Scrivener (Member # 6742) on :

So since my alleged husband does none of the above and there's nobody else willing to fill the position, does that mean I get to pick my partner from here at Hatrack? LOL

"But they are subordinate to the collective will of the Harem."

Cool...since a bunch of women rarely agree on anything, we don't have to do much... [Big Grin]

Posted by Goody Scrivener (Member # 6742) on :

We can definitely agree on one thing at least....

TEH HATRACK HAREM ROOLZ!!!

heeeeeeeeeeheeeeeeeee

Posted by ketchupqueen (Member # 6877) on :

*thwaps Kwea*

The actual wife's opinion is, of course, paramount, and the Harem will back up women who wish to punish their husbands.

oh now THAT has possibilities, KQ... PunisherCon in Chicago? And then California, and Missouri, and Sri Lanka, and .... LOL
