Five on Tom.

At first I didn't understand the reason for this thread.

Now I do. I think I'm siding with Tom on this one. [Razz]

I don't understand...can someone explain?

I have to support digging holes, for his keen apprecation of the beauty and delight of last post threads. I, too, was once clueless about them but now I've seen the light! [Hail]

Give me time
To realize my crime...

Doot doot.

Wait, I think I'm getting it. Is he the reason there are a billion last post threads on the front page?

Posted by kojabu (Member # 8042) on :

aye. he went through each one.

For his sins, dh must be sacrificed to Cthulhu. Only by shedding his blood on the ancient altar can he expiate his crimes; let him be swallowed into the stygian darkness of outermost space, there to scream for a thousand millennia until the One God rises from the depths to devour all mankind. Ia! Ia! Cthulhu fthagn!

Now that Rivka is The Chosen One, I think it should become her Chosen Destiny to defeat the evil that dh has brought upon us.

digging_holes has got it. Can we have a pay per view event?

Posted by plaid (Member # 2393) on :

A new thread, where only Tom and dh post. Then...

TWO MEN ENTER! ONE MAN LEAVES!!
TWO MEN ENTER! ONE MAN LEAVES!!

I gotta go with Tom. Those threads are annoying.

Heck no! This is Tom's campaign.

I am merely a banner-waver.

Death to the last post haters!

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

I don't hate last post threads. In fact, I consider them an integral part of Hatrack culture.

However, there is really no need for there to be more than one or two of 'em on the front page at any one time. [Razz]

[Roll Eyes]

Tom, I think that's your cue.

Don't listen to them DH, they're just trying to distract you so that THEY can get the last post. [Smile]

Got it covered. [Cool]

I, for one, am shocked, shocked, shocked and dismayed at the nihilistic and antisocial tone that this thread has taken.

And to think, I used to be proud of you, proud and impressed with your society-building, your gentle and tolerant ways.

And now I am disappointed, disappointed and disheartened to learn of my fellow hatrackers's true colors.

I thought you were all gold and silver, but after witnessing this sorry display, I realize that you are all black and blue.

I weep. [Cry] [Wink]

<Thought of locking all last post threads crosses mind.>

<After posting in them, of course.>

<Abusing power that first time was so much fun, after all....>

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

Papa, then they'd just start more.

Posted by Papa Moose (Member # 1992) on :

You're probably right. Should I attack countries that harbor last-post-thread starters, too?

Posted by Vid (Member # 7172) on :

Yes. As long as those countries rhyme with "Thyria," "Riran," or "Forth Porea."

Posted by ElJay (Member # 6358) on :

Hmmmmm. I don't think the rest of our Canadians would like that idea very much.

Posted by Vid (Member # 7172) on :

Then it's probably a good idea I didn't include "Phanada" on the list.

(Actually, being a hockey fan, I don't think I could ever forgive myself for it)

Okay FUNNIEST FREAKING THREAD EVER I LAUGHED FIVE! FIVE! FIVE *(&()^()* TIMES!

Posted by Tante Shvester (Member # 8202) on :

Why, if you were a man, I'd beat you bloody.

Posted by Sid Meier (Member # 6965) on :

argh typo I meant "sweet" as in adorable! THERE 12 and 13 years old! I am not a sicko! They're only friends. One lives in Chengdu the other in Beijing.

Apparently Peking duck is the same as beijing duck...

Posted by rivka (Member # 4859) on :

Well, since Peking and Beijing are simply different transliterations of the same city's name, that's not surprising.

Posted by Sid Meier (Member # 6965) on :

I'm not sure its translation wise, Peking used ot mean "Northern Capitol" during the breif period when Chiang controled southern china and Mao had northern china.

Posted by mothertree (Member # 4999) on :

I wish I'd been here to see it. My life has a new purpose...

sarcasm?
