One day post-op... and I read the 20/20 line!

And I found out that the difference in the colors I see from one eye to the other are due to the smokey haze of the cataract being gone.

They do the left eye Tuesday.

I still can't focus much up close, but he says that is because of my corneal swelling, which should go down over the next few days. [Smile] I'll probably need reading glasses, though.

Anyway, it was so cool... he put the big lens-switcher glasses in front of me, and flipped lenses around. When we had arrived at the place where I could see the best, he pulled them back a bit and said, "You know what power lens that is?"

"No."

In answer, he stuck his finger through the empty hole. [Big Grin] Then he cautioned me not to be disappointed if my vision wasn't this good as fast in the other eye. [Smile]
