I am writing this to reccomend the move SLC Punk to everyone, and i do it for one reason. People on this forum range greatly in diversity, so naturally have problems agreeing with each other sometimes. This movie takes place in salt lake city, and makes fun of everything, but not in a raunchy, insensitive manor. it is a smart commentary that points out the hypocrasy of the right, left, and everything in between. It mocks posers, mods, druggies, nazis, mormons, christians, catholics, wyoming, utah, california, and even the punk hero of the film. It is a film about growing up and living with everybody despite your differences, and i cannot find a better film.

I forgot the moral: everyone is a hypocrit, but if we all tolerate each other, life is good -OR- just because you dont agree with someone doesnt make them WRONG

I certainly wouldn't know of such a moral without the help of a 1998 film! [Wink]

My friend loves that movie. When we had a punk/goth party he died his hair blue to match the main character's hair.
