My nephew has been working on repairing his riding lawn mower. Today he brought it out to my parents house to show it off. Remember, he's only 14. Anyway the second rate paint job was highlighted by the word "pimp" he painted on the back. He claims he was "pimpin" out his lawn mower.

Before the day was done the lawn mower was disabled.

Seems he ran over a hoe someone had left in the tall grass.

He didn't understand why I was laughing so hard as I removed it from the broken cutting blades.

If I would have put Pimp and Hoe in the title, would this have gotten more response?

That's fabulous! It's like this magnet I have with a dog and hoe where the hoe is calling the dog a B**** and the dog is calling the hoe a hoe. It's great. [Big Grin]

That's hilarious. I don't think I would have been coherent enough to actually remove the hoe from the mini-Pimp-mobile.

*wonders if that can be used to teach irony in my classroom since those are terms universally understood, or if it would just get me fired*

That's the funniest story I've heard in ages. It's just classic.

I had a tee-shirt that had a fan and a vacuum cleaner insulting each other....

That's just great.

Poetic justice. Or Hoetic justice, as the case may be.

My entire workplace is rolling on the floor over that one!

Now for the down side.

He is bragging about this to all of his friends and family. His mother wants to shoot me for pointing out the irony. His father will be telling it at work for years, but at home agrees with his wife, for safety's sake.

[ROFL] That is perfect. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time; it was the perfect birthday present. I needed a good laugh.
