That title came to me on the way home.

It makes sense. If you were a vampire looking for a buffet where else would you go today? Add the recent wave of decapitations--a good way to kill vampires.

Suddenly my mind was filled with strange thoughts: The Hussein family as a vampire family, Another Vampire Cortie in Iran explains the Iran/Iraq war. Al-Qeda being a Vampire troop, sired by a secret American Vampire Cartel that was sent to get fresh food from the Russian Troops in Afghanistan, but the death of the controlling US vampire lets loose yet another Vampire clan in the area. Finally, Haliburton being as vampiric in its leadership as in its reported business dealings brings another group into the fray.

Of course, as one time leader of Haliburton that would make our Vice President a vampire. This is ridiculous. I am sure there have been many people who have seen him in bright daylight. Then again his being rushed to the bunker on the morning of 9/11 may have been a simple explanation to cover up the fact that he was cryptically indisposed.

Anyway, I think there is mileage in this idea, but I don't have the time to write it out. Anyone else want to play with it?

Throw in a little alliumphobia, and you've got a blockbuster on your hands.

Cool idea.

There is a huge cheese potential, but the idea definitely sounds intriguing if the writer/director took it seriously.

I see it more of a Sin Cityesque comic.

Vampires are, hands down, the sexiest of all the movie monsters.

Hands up, too.

I'd say more like the Hellboy comics.

Well, as my Aunt Gertie says, "a lid for every pot".
