Are there any? Preferably two syllables.

Please please please tell me there are! I need one to go with Lederhosen for something I wrote.

Help, help, help me, please!

Really? It sounds/looks Japanese. I'll have to do a search.
-----
Okay, did a search, and it comes back as Japanese, Slavic, and Finnish. Thanks anyway. [Frown]

How about Italian men's names ending in an "a" sound? It's about the same probability.

Otto, Hugo.

I'm no genius, but you're very welcome. (((Quiddy)))

I hope to read your book(s) sometime.

LOL Thanks, JH. This one isn't for a book, but for a, er, revised nursery rhyme. I'm not even sure where to get it published, but that's beside the point right now. [Dont Know]

But yes, I do predict that you will get to read my book(s) sometime. I fully intend on getting published and becoming well-read. [Big Grin] Why not?

And yes, JH, in this instance at least, you are a genius. You delivered, and in style. [Kiss]

And this confirms, yet again, why Hatcrack is the greatest!

Style? What style? I was mocking German and Italian names. But for you I'll accept it! [Razz]

I have a nursery rhyme too, for teenagers:

Pimple, pimple, little brat,
Why the <beep> are you so fat?
On my face - you <beep, beep, beep> -
You perpetually just sit!

Thanks, Corwin. [Smile]

I usually use online baby name sites, but since I needed something so specific (two syllables, ending in an O sound), it seemed quicker to post here rather than wade through those sites.

That site, thought, looks particularly good. It's bookmarked. [Smile]

I know a German named Guido. We pronounde it /gi-do/. So with the uniquely g sound but no U sound.

Posted by kojabu (Member # 8042) on :

Guido is also an Italian name, but with the u pronounced. Gwee-do.

One of the German's I work with in Münster is named Guido. They all definitely pronounce it "Gwee-do" not Gee-do.

Hey, y'all, I'm going with Otto. It works for me, it's perfect, and I love it. So there!

I mean, seriously, feel free to suggest away, but the decision's been made. [Big Grin]

(Seriously. It kills me. Decision made. Suggestions still coming in. *snort*)

I LOVE Y'ALL! [Kiss]
