I was in my local health food store today behind two ladies in line who were talking about the benefits of eating raw meat. One of them turned to the other and said

"It's according to the Weston Price foundation, but people need to be a bit skeptical. It's from data on cats."

I refrained from opening a dialog on the subject. I simply smiled and paid for my purchases.

Ah...isn't life grand.

Now I like Steak Tartar as much as the next person, but Bob did you really need to reopen this can of worms?

Hey, if I'd overheard that I couldn't have helped by have posted it.

Of course, I'm also the guy who bumped the "what do lesbians drive" thread (or whatever it's called) for the sake of a joke, so take that with a grain of salt.

You shop at health food stores?

For shame.

No, I buy shame at a different kind of store.

Oh golly, had I been there, I would have started talking about microclusters of rhodium and irridium. In fact, I may have asked the health food folk what aisle the microclusters were in.

I miss the earnestness of the Dr. Price thread. It was priceless. Gotta love steven, he just CARES so much.

But organic shame is so much better for you, Bob.

Sure, if you can afford it. Have you seen what they're asking for a pound of fresh picked shame at the local health food store?

If I knew people were out buying shame, I would've given them some of mine for free.

No, wait, sorry, shame != guilt. My bad. [Big Grin]
