All five viral marketing clips of River Tam's security tapes have been released, as far as we know. Check these out:

1st released: R. Tam - Session 416 - Second Excerpt
2nd released: R. Tam - Session 1 - Excerpt
3rd released: R. Tam - Session 22 - Excerpt
4th released: R. Tam - Session 165 - Excerpt
5th released: R. Tam - Session 416 - First Excerpt

Site with various links to all of them, in different formats, plus FAQ: www.session416.com

No spoilers, these scenes do not appear in the movie. They are damn creepifying, though. More movie info at the official movie site.

25 days til Serenity...

*evil laugh* "I'll have to write it down." I was waiting for something like that.

After seeing the first four, the last one sends shivers down your spine.

Yeah, completely brilliant. [Big Grin]

Weird and disturbing, but brilliant.

After seeing how violent (if undisplayed) the first one released was, I was afraid people would get the wrong idea of the film from these videos.

After seeing the rest, and seeing how effective the close of the 4th one is since we know what's about to happen, I've decided to trust them wholeheartedly.

I still definitely want to see the movie ... but I'm torn about letting my 12-year-old daughter (who has seen all the DVDs) go to it. I may have to go to it first, to check it out, before letting her go. That is just part of my responsibility as her mother, right? (Not to mention that means I would get to see the movie twice. [Wink] )

Your twelve year old daughter has seen the DVDs?! I would have thought they were way too... grown up. I definately recommend going to seen the movie first without her!
