I was introduced to this board game recently, and I've found it to be a lot of fun. Lots of re-play value, creative game design, and takes about an hour. Good for groups of 3-6.

At the bottom of that page are a series of links to columns on how the game works.

Definetely a game I would recommend to you folks. Its not the most intellectually stimulating game in the world, but its good fun for the family, or for a group of friends.

Thanks for the recommendation! I love Avalon Hill games, but I had no idea if this one was any good or not. Now I'll have to check it out. [Smile]

Hmm, that game looks interesting. Sounds like a possible Christmas present for my husband.

That does look interesting. I just had a game night with some friends-- we played Settlers of Catan and the Age of Mythology board game. Good times, good times. . .

Here's some more information on Betrayal at the House on the Hill.

Watch out, some stuff is wrong or doesn't make sense. Check out http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ah/faqs/hoth#scenarios

I love the concept, but the scenarios don't seem very well balanced, the handful of times I've played it. Or at least, not very well balanced for different numbers of players.
