Did I miss something? In the last issue of the comic, the Blue guys were in Serenity and Kaylee/Simon trapped them or something.. and they were trying to get in with a torch, hacking, etc.
Then Wash guns the speed, picks up Mal, Zoe and Jayne... and then they're on a planet saying goodbuy to Inara and Book says he's leaving too..
What happened to the two blue guys???

They were trying to get into Serenity through the bottom hatch and Kaylee was staying a step ahead of them. Wash took off and shook them away, picked up the rest of the crew, and when the Alliance ship stared to give chase Wash fired up the engines and either knocked them back or blew them up. My impression was that the blue hands guys were killed.

Also, I'm pretty sure that Mal was just imagining Inara leaving, and was planning what he'd say.
It was interesting, the bit with Agent Dobson, though it was sort of convenient that Zoe, Mal, and Jayne simply managed to overpower those guys. Anyhow, I bet we see Early again at some point as well. He was an awesome character, and they left it wide open for him to come back.
