If memory serves, Victor Hugo one wrote a poem about the invention of the steam engine. I can't really remember more than that except that it was very somber and Hugo didn't really approve of the thing at all. If anyone can give me the name of the poem, I'd appreciate it. Big time.

Oh ! My favorite novel by Victor Hugo !
I love it !!! It's not exactly a poem, but all victor Hugo's writings are delicious. I highly recommand this story.
